Sea, Sauna and City Center

The property is huge and modern. The location is convenient, just a short tram trip from the centre.

You receive a long list of instructions which you are told you have to agree to before they give you access. It was quite intimidating , especially that the owner can see into the apartment. It also included the requirement to remove all food, so we were surprised to find lots of food in the cupboards. The instructions/ photos of how to get in could be better: it was hard to read the arrows on the photos on a phone, and we didn’t realize that we needed to continue beyond the key lock box on the first floor to find the apartment.

The location of the Apartment is well located. There is a supermarket nearby. Comfortable mattresses, plenty of space! There is a sauna.

The apartment owner's complaints regarding cleaning... this is not stated anywhere in the rules of residence! The cleaning lady arrived before 11 am. There was no dishwashing detergent so we could wash up after ourselves!

Loved the space, the sauna, the bed was very comfortable, host very easy to communicate with.

Very big and bright apartment in city center. Silent neibourhood. Comfy bed. Good sauna. Market, pharmacy etc. is down the stairs.

Could be cleener and neater. There was dirt on floor and on cooker hood. And found old underpants in wasingmachine from previous clients. 🫣 the owner had not indicated to booking com that an additional payment of 40€ is required for cleaning the apartment. I received this information only when I could no longer reschedule the trip.

This is a well designed apartment in a good location. As you can see from the pictures, the bathroom is not the latest, but the rest is modern. The apartment and bed linen were very clean. We booked as a group and asked if the two sofas could be made up for us to sleep on. The blankets and linen were ready when we arrived. We were able to use the sofas as normal during the day and convert them into beds in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay!

Although the landlords are very friendly, the information message is formulated a little harsh. It is understandable that parties and smoking are undesirable and should be prevented. I know it is a message every guest receives and it has a legal function. However, the message could have been made a little friendlier. The rest of the communication was very pleasant and welcoming. It wasn't bad either, but it was a bit irritating to have a knock at the door 15 minutes before check-out time and they wanted to start cleaning. But the lady was very friendly and waited outside. Please don't take this criticism too seriously. It was a really nice stay!

Private sauna (in the bathroom), close to grocery store & pharmacy, quiteness of the apartment, communication with host. Comfortable beds

It could use some more kitchenware (in general : larger pots & pans, serving spoons, can opener, ladl, whisks, colander, tongs, wooden spoons, ... ). A city map of Helsinki would have been useful.
