Spacious, long, very clean 2 bedroom apartment across two floors. You walk into a sitting area, then open plan bedroom with large double bed, followed by very small kitchen and one stair up to spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Down a flight of stairs, which could be closed off from the upper floor was another bedroom with a double bed and two single beds one under the stairs and a sperate large bathroom with walk in shower and two basins. Extra blankets we're provided, but not enough pillows Full fridge and freezer. Plenty of glasses and plates.

The kitchen was very small and not suitable for the amount of beds. The table was also very small. There was a lot of walking from the lounge to the kitchen and bathroom due to the bed being in the middle of the ground floor plan. The basement bedroom had no natural light and poor WiFi. Their was no washing powder for the washing machine. Also there was no heating on upon arrival but we were able to turn this on. Uncomfortable firm beds and pillows. Preference would be to have a mix of pillows hard and soft as no extra pillows.

There is an arrangement with a private car parking lot across from the street (instructions on how to find it could be better though). The apartment itself is potentially very nice as you can see from the pictures.

What one cannot see from the pictures is that one bedroom is situated in the basement, the only entrance through the other bedroom, And the lower bathroom was dysfunctional - it was leaking and stank awfully. Also since approximately 6 am (obviously when neighbors woke up) there was a terrible noise of loud footsteps and water pipes rambling. Very unpleasant experience - like sleeping in the train station near the public toilet. I understand that the bathroom can be fixed but I see from the comments that it's been a problem before, so can happen again. Also, something must be done about sound isolation and the noisy water pipes.

We stayed one night at Oikion Home Stay in Meteora and it was a comfortable, hassle-free base in a super convenient location. The apartment is right on the main street, yet feels spacious and easy to settle into. We were a family of four and the four beds were genuinely comfortable, which made a big difference after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment feels modern and well-kept, and the very large bathroom was a pleasant surprise—plenty of space for everyone to get ready without feeling rushed. A major plus was the private parking across the street, which made arrival and departure simple, especially with luggage and tight timings. Overall, a clean, modern, roomy apartment in a great location—ideal if you want a smooth, practical stay while exploring Meteora.
