Ariti Apartments

Pleasant surroundings with easy walk to anywhere. Restaurants needed booking, but we liked that as we could choose our table.

The mattresses were very hard and as such, I slept on the sofa. This was they only concern I had.

Perfect location, easy short walking distance to the centre of it all but just ever so slightly set back so you get none of the noise. It was perfect for myself and my friend. Air con was great too, we would wake up in the night cold!

This was my third vacations in Kassiopi and I have a lot to compare it to. The apartments are located on a busy street, but we did not hear any noise. Our room 5 was on the ground floor in building 36 (closer to the street, to the left of the entrance). The apartments is quite large and comfortable. Large living room-studio with a comfortable kitchen, corridor, two separate bedrooms, bathroom. The bedrooms have quite comfortable beds and mattresses, although the furniture is wooden and simple. Towels were clean, changed once every three days, but not soft enough. There was a minimal set of utensils in the kitchen, but it was enough for a family of 4. There were 2 large pots, a frying pan, an electric cooker, an electric kettle, a toaster (but we did not use it). There was no salt, condiments, tea/coffee There was a set of soaps in the bathroom. Due to the wild heat on the days we stayed, we had our windows closed and mosquitoes/flies did not bother us. The pool was clean and accessible. If it wasn't for the crazy heat, our holiday in Ariti Complex could be called very comfortable. Very friendly owners of the complex. Very fast support.

Absolutely no internet - if it's important for work or communication, it's completely absent there. There is also no television, although maybe we did not figure out how to switch it on. It was not critical for us, although we have two children. One air conditioner could barely cope with the wild heat. It was only +40°C for a couple of days, but while we were in the room, the air conditioner was working all the time. As it is alone and in the corridor, it only cools one bedroom and a bit of the corridor. The living room was not cool, but we only had meals at the table there.

Apartment 5 was spacious and there is a shared pool area. It was in a good position for the village centre.

There were no instructions and no one appeared to explain anything to us. We didn't know when the toilet paper bins would be emptied and there were no spare bags to empty it ourselves or instructions where to place the full bin. We were 4 females sharing so we really needed it emptying daily. There were no spare bin liners provided for the kitchen bin either. The Aircon in our apartment was not satisfactory theRe was one old unit in the hallway which didn't really do the job. There were no instructions about when our towels or sheets would be changed and we were not provided with more than one loo roll at the beginning of our 2 week stay. We believed there was WiFi this was not the case. My daughter was needing to work during her stay and working in the apartment was not possible which caused a problem. I think the other rooms were ok but not ours. Guests should know there are certain things NOT provided that other apartments tend to have like - Hair dryer, plug-in inserts repellent, safety locker, coffee pot, fan, dish cloth, extra key we had one between 4 of us and as mentioned a total lack of instructions on arrival. The hostess doesn't speak English but proper written instructions would have been most helpful.

The apartment was really nice, comfortable and big. It had a very lovely living room. There was everything we needed. Although there was no special car parking, but there were always places to park in front of the house, by the road. Also, we could reach all the town's main beaches, shops and restaurants in a few minutes on foot. Accommodation is located near the busy road, but the sounds from the street are almost inaudible, when the windows are shut.

We made a reservation for the Ariti apartments, but when we arrived, we found out, that we will live in the Balaris apartments. Both accommodations are near each other, but here was no swimming pool, like in the Ariti apartments. On the other hand, our room was much bigger than we expected. We also had no idea if the air conditioning was working because we couldn't find a remote control in the room to turn it on.

Nice location, close to everything, pool available all the time, very well equipped kitchen. I wished we stayed longer in this place. Mattress could be better but otherwise it is perfect.
