Kirkwall town centre apartment

Fantastic location - first time in Orkney, would stay here again

this is a great little, well-appointed apartment in a fantastic location. It was very clean and very charming. The water pressure was excellent and there is a bath which I love. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend unless you have mobility issues as the stairs are very steep.

The bed was very small. My husband had to bend his legs or his feet hung over the edge.

Smart clean little apartment at the end of the pretty main Kirkwall street. Short walk to bus station and supermarket. Shop nearby. Quiet. Very comfortable, tasteful rooms with everything I needed. Water hot, heaters, cooker very efficient. Bed very comfortable. Generally a lovely stay. Ideal for 1 or 2 people.

No criticisms.

Perfect location for centre of Kirkwall and St Magnus Cathedral.

Everything was great

Very centrally located traditional starter flat in old property. Comfortable bed and plenty of room in bedroom. Electric shower so not great pressure but the bath very comfortable and lots of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and nice touch leaving tea, coffee and milk. Very nice.

Lounge is small for sitting but as so central doesn’t matter as out every night experiencing Kirkwall. A great place to crash out.

A good quality flat well situated for the town centre and bus station. A very relaxing place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

We did a lot of cooking at the flat and was disappointed that there seemed to be no lids for the pans which made boiling vegetables somewhat difficult. This was the only downside of an otherwise well appointed, quality flat.
