Kirkwall town centre apartment

The bed was small and the pillows not great. Neither of us is heavy or overweight but sleeping in the bed felt more like an endurance.

Really central with parking across the road. It was an excellent base for all activities. Living-kitchen-dining room is compact but we we didn't need anything more. Bedroom is actually bigger than it looks in the photos. Appreciated having access to Netflix and wi-fi.

All good. We didn't do any cooking so I can't comment on what the kitchen is like for anything more than making a cup of tea.

Great location in Kirkwall, quiet and convenient. The flat was cosy, comfortable and had everything I needed. Good instructions and information were provided. I had a hire car and managed to find parking places quite easily. A super place to stay.

It was a clean and very comfortable place to stay (for 6 nights). Great location in the lovely and interesting Conservation Area of Kirkwall with lots of local shops as well as Tesco, Lidl and Co-op within easy walking distance.

Great location 1st class accommodation

Very neat, warm, tidy and perfectly placed. Fridge, cooking facilities, telly and comfort. I'll definitely be considering using this again for future visits.

The key box needed a wee bit of effort to work out on leaving but seems silly to quibble over a detail.

Delighted to find eggs and milk in the self-catering apartment, as well as tea, coffee and lots of other bits and bobs for cooking. (There were also oatcakes and butter but I couldn't use those being coeliac but appreciated the thought)

More ability to adjust the heat but being too hot is way better than being too cold, so that was OK.

Everything in this cosy and well located apartment was great. It is a welcoming place to come back to after exploring Kirkwall and surrounds. Stairs are a bit steep but if you are there for a couple of days it is worth it.

The only small issue was the water pressure in the shower.

Very quiet at night. Cosy flat very near to centre of Kirkwall, with parking available nearby. There was a useful welcome folder, as well as leaflets of local info. Good WiFi included. Ideal for a visit to Orkney.
