Y Ffau - A gorgeous little caravan

Cosy little caravan, decent facilities and friendly owners. 10 minute walk from the town centre and places to eat, which was fine. Beautiful location and surrounding scenery.

Slightly more room for storage/bigger table for eating but limited space makes that impractical. Fine for a single person, bit of a squeeze otherwise.

Really cosy and spotlessly clean. I was walking Offa’s Dyke with my little dog - so this was a perfect stop at Knighton. And a hot shower and a comfortable bed. About 10 mins to town centre with lots of shops and restaurants - but so quiet. Self contained garden - great for eating outside and the dog to stretch her legs (before walking 14 miles).

Everything. Honestly, I'd hard pressed to find something to grumble about.

Private place

I was unable to find the property based on the location post code. I was given a code to use to access the property. Having failed to locate it, it was useless. I had advised my arrival time as between 20:00 and 21:00. In the event, due to a problem at Colwyn bay where I needed to break my journey from Holyhead, I did not reach the postcode until c 22:45. It had fallen dark at about 21:30. I used my car headlights and my phone torch to search area around the postcode for almost 90 mins before giving up and booking into a hotel in Ludlow as it was so late this was my only option. This cost me more than twice the price of Y Ffau

See above. I am now a very disappointed customer of Y Frau. Furthermore I am an utterly frustrated user of Bookings.com and am not at all confident about using the app ever again. Please see my review of my experience at the hotel in Ludlow for further info about this.

Friendly hostess, very quiet and private with a hedge round and its own garden space, clean and very good value.

I was walking a Offa's Dyke Path and needed somewhere in Knighton for 2 nights so I could have a rest day. The caravan fitted the bill perfectly. Lovely quiet relaxing location. Facilities for self catering. Bed surprisingly comfy. Good price. Excellent hosts.
