Spectacular settings around the house with amazing views, a different experience from the normal tourist places. We really enjoyed the pool looking out over the scenery. We would love to come back here. Make sure to follow the instructions on how to get there, we did not and followed the gps which was a bit too much of an adventure.

Very hospitable host Mrs Eleni also a great cook! Took us in and was very helpful with what we needed! Very good facility 🙂

A beautiful and special place where the peace is incredible. At night there is absolute silence and during the day it is possible to watch eagles. The very nice landlady prepared us a varied breakfast. We regret that we were only here for a short time. We will definitely return here for more days. I can only recommend it.

Host is amazing! Had dinner ready upon my arrival! Dinner and breakfast authentic Greek and delicious! Bed was comfortable! The view is fantastic! Second stay and will be back!

The fresh mountain air was delightful and the hosts were welcoming It was a very nice way to cap our visit to Crete. The directions were simple to follow and we found Apple maps seem accurate enough.

The pool was too cool to swim but we were a little out of season for that

Wonderful location, spectacular swimming pool facing Candia plain from the slopes of Ida mountain. Heleni was a great host and made us feel home

The property is set high on the hills overlooking Heraklion and the wine valleys .. the view is stunning .. the villa we stayed in was very comfortable and blended in well with the environment.. my husband and I used the pool both days and could relax next to it enjoying the scenery and near by goat herds .. Elena and her husband were always very friendly and what a magnificent spread she cooked and delivered to our room for dinner, catering generously with home cooked vegetarian meals for me and lamb from the farm for my husband .. most of the produce for dinner and the plentiful breakfast comes from the farm or neighbouring areas.. we would definitely stay here again ..

The property and its location are truly outstanding, particularly for those wanting a detox from their busy day-to-day life. Whether it was watching the sunrise over the panoramic landscape to the east, or watching 20 Griffon Vultures circling for ages over the valley, it was a balm to the soul. Eleni and Babis are excellent hosts and the breakfast and dinners that can be ordered (the day before) are extremely good. They have a lovely story about the how the idea for the property came about - but I’ll let them tell you that! Their love for the land they have farmed for generations is palpable.

The staff was great and the grounds are fantastic. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The breeze at night allowed for open door sleeping. Very comfortable.

It's a little out of the way and the roads are a little challenging at first. That could be a factor more of my lack of planning than of the place.
