lovely self contained central apartment

Central location in old style building tucked down the rambling passageways of the old town. very comfy bed, super clean and ideal for a couple in terms of space. Owner Mery very helpful and responsive.

Cooking facilities limited but fine for few days and ok for basic food prep.

There was a breakdown in the electrical installation in the apartment and they didn't want to fix it. They only speak Italian

Great location, breakfast was at a local cafe- good croissant and cappuccino. The room was not the one I thought I was going to get from the picture but this was not a big deal. The place smelled very bad from cigarettes. When we complained the lady said the previous couple smoked and paid a penalty, but the bed covers were dirty and smelled so bad that it seemed to me it was not just from one night smoking. for non-smokers it was really unpleasant. The host offered to give us the money back, but we were so tired traveling from Matera and decided it would be a hassle to look for a new place with heavy bags walking around town at 17:00. We wanted to enjoy the town and forget about the room.

The room had lots of character, the host was lovely, the WiFi was brill, the room was is the best location, we were there for a wedding and our room was the closest to everything we needed to get to. On Sunday there was a lovely market which lasted all day right outside of the room. The room was cheap and excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

There was no room cleaning for the 4 nights we were there, the room had no windows which added to the character but also made the room smell and feel a little damp. The shower and shower curtain had mould on them.

Free Parking far away from the structure. No wifi and no mobile signal inside the room. Breakfast is just a cornetto and a coffe at a bar near. The room had to much humidity and no air. Noise from the street early in the morning.
