Uncomfortable sofa bed. Shower too small.

Location - less than 10 minutes walk to the beach, bakery and minimarket. Easy communication with the host, usually replies within few hours. Host Enrico met us at the check-in and gave us details about the neighbourhood, which seems to be a safe place. Only 25 minutes to Palermo by bus. Bikes and umbrella rental are free of charge. Air conditioning works perfectly. Highly recommended! Few things that could be improved - We rented 1 bed apt with balcony. Kitchen equipment is really basic, pots and pans are burnt. Fridge is too noisy to get comfortable sleep on the sofa. There are plenty of ants, so all food must be stored in the fridge. We've been asked to respect quiet hours, but at the same time, there were 2 small house construction work starting at 7am, and a dog barking all day. This was not a big issue for us, as we spent most of the time at the beach. There was strong smell of gas in the apartment coming from the gas boiler.

Price seems to be high when compare to apartments we rented in Spain, Portugal or Croatia.

The location was great, a 10-minute walk away from the beach and close to a little bakery and convenience store. The property is very well equipped and our host was very attentive. Check-in and check-out was swift and efficient. We loved our time there!

Very close to the beach, the Apartament was exceptional, with all the utilities that you need, very new, with a great owner, very professional who was very receptive to our requests! We definitely recommend it!

+ Enrico is a great host. He is easily approachable for all questions. He also came by for a personal hello when we checked in. + The house seems recently renovated in a modern style. All facilities like bathroom, air-conditioning, security entrance door are up to recent standards. We liked it a lot. The host is putting further investments into the house, e.g. solar panels were installed when we were there. + Bikes and beach things are also available (inflatable donut, beach umbrellas, diving mask, etc) for free. Really nice. + Wifi works great in all rooms. + Parking your car in front of the house is normally easy. Note: "Palermo Holidays" is a house with 5 apartments. Make sure you look at the pictures of "your" apartment.

Overall, there is not much to criticise. Enrico, the host, does a great job. Smaller improvements - We booked the flat for 3 persons. The third bed was not prepared, we had to do it ourselves. - The mattress in the sleeping room is very simple (only 12cm thick, no slatted bed frame below). More comfort would be nice here. - The kitchenware was too basic/limited. E.g. pans are too old, need to be replaced; small bowls to eat cereals are missing, knives are fuzzy.
