Palazzo Dei Gesuiti

The apartment was in the centre of a busy piazza. Perfect location close to everything in Monopoli. Gianni was very helpful in organising taxis and helping with bags. Great to have the deck upstairs.

There was nothing to complain about. Everyone knows about the steep access. To be expected around here.

Lovely apartment, with everything you need, and stunning private roof terrace. Right in the middle of the beautiful historic square of Monopoli. Gianni is a really helpful host, always available on WhatsApp to answer any questions and give recommendations for the area.

There is a very steep flight of stairs up to the property, so some people may find this quite difficult, especially with heavy luggage.

The whole place is GORGEOUS and in the best location. Gianni was great via Whats App/Booking.com messages - he told us where to park, met us with the keys, carried our bags up the steep stairs and even offered to buy groceries for our arrival. I appreciated that he had a crib and high chair available as well as a huge kitchen with all the amenities. I thought we'd have a balcony, but was happily surprised that each apartment has their own private terrace (upstairs) with lights for the evening and a drying rack and sun chairs for the day. Also amazing to have housekeeping mid-week for a long stay.

The noise from the busy square calms down by midnight which was no problem for us, especially with stone walls. The stairs are steep and there are about 50 of them, something to think about for mobility purposes - we carried our baby up and down 3+ times a day with no problem but I could see some folks having issues. Both the bedroom (we stayed in #2) and the pull out couch are in rooms that get direct sunlight in the morning so I'd suggest a sleep mask.

Location, hospitality, it’s clean and nice

This is a great home away from home. A full well equipped kitchen. A beautiful bathroom. A great living and dining area. A fantastic terrace. Gianni and Micaela made wonderful recommendations and reserved a taxi for us.

Large rooms, all very clean and comfy bed. Best part was the roof terrace.

Amazing experience from start to finish and Gianni is a fantastic host.
