Palazzo Dei Gesuiti

Lots of light and great views. Even the bathroom had a window and a view. The storage space for clothes was fantastic. No living out of a suitcase here. There were two huge built in wardrobes with lots of drawers, shelves and hanging space ( with hangers). The bathroom too had lots of shelves for toiletries, etc Each of the four apartments had its own private terrace with loungers. They were on the roof and far from the madding crowd in the square below. The windows have double glazing and beautifully made wooden interior shutters which block out all the light and noise from below when closed. When we arrived we were welcomed by Michaela, a lovely, friendly lady who gave us lots of tips about good restaurants and all kinds of things. She is amazing.

There were 50 stairs to climb from the square below. This square is very much the tourist hub of the town and so for some is is the perfect location. For us, it was a little too frenzied, with so many packed out restaurants and bars-all that eating, eating, eating…. However, once in the apartment or on the terrace, it was very peaceful. As I said, far from the madding crowd (Thomas Hardy!).

The apartment was spotlessly clean. Authentic Italian furniture and fittings. Very nice. Terrace was amazing. Views exceptional. Despite being in the centre of the square, which has a great vibe, the terrace was very peaceful and quiet Communication with Gianni and Michaela was amazing. Both are very helpful. Great location for exploring the area.

The Stairs, however, we were aware there was a lot of them when we booked. We had backpacks, which made it easier to climb the stairs. There is a starlift, but we weren't sure how to use it. We are in our 70s, but we managed. Well worth the climb.

The property was historic though had been upgraded beautifully. My apartment was perfect, kitchen had all we needed. The rooftop patio was a perfect place to relax, enjoy the sights of Monopoli

Central location, easy to get to, free parking. Clean large apartment with all the amenities, good AC! The host was fantastic and helped every step of the way from easybcheck in to easy departure!

No elevator, which the hosts do advice in advance about, but I didn’t read.

L appartement est lumineux et très propre... vue sur l eglise et sur une des places des plus touristiques ! L eglise ne sonne que a partir de 8h et le bruit le soir ne nous a pas dérangé ! La terrasse est tres agreable.

Attention il y a un bel escalier un peu raide pour y acceder.

Zeer ruim appartement op top locatie. Schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit zowel de woonkamer als het dakterras.

Een gordijn voor het kleine raam in de slaapkamer om deze te verduisteren was wel fijn geweest.

Perfect information line from the host, easy to find, in the archaic citiycenter. Wonderful appartman, nice maid. Recomended to all.

Everything was perfect...location,facilities,clean,view from the terrace,communication with Gianni,taxi transfer. Apartament that makes you feel the Monopoli vibes!!

Location, rooftop views, cleanliness and comfort. Gianni was a great host. Very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend 👌
