TSUMUYA

De gastheer was bijzonder behulpzaam. Hij heeft ons opgehaald bij de haven van Myanoura en was bereid om ons ook weer weg te brengen. Het traditionele huis is redelijk ruim, mooi gelegen aan de kust. Veel mooie kunstboeken en interessante fotos aan de muren.

De omschrijving 'met uitzicht op zee' moet met een flinke korrel zout genomen worden. Het huis is erg gesloten en een raam in de slaapruimte biedt, als je het kan openschuiven, een kleine blik op de zee. De keuken is ook gedateerd en eigenlijk alleen geschikt om ontbijt te maken en een magnetron maaltijd op te warmen.

Hosts were exceptionally helpful., recommending and booking restaurants for us, collecting us from the port and taking us back at the end of our stay and taking us to a restaurant and home again. Also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Waterside view was through frosted glass window which had to remain closed.No hanging space for clothes.

Lovely place. The owners were delightful. It was hard for us to find tho possibly our problem with directions. Plenty of space. Lots of help with bookings from the hosts.

HArd to find. Otherwise great. The bus is very close though having e bikes was great

The house was spacious and quirkily decorated in 1960's and 70's furniture, artefacts and an extensive art book collection. It was spotlessly clean. The house opened on to the harbour with views of the fishing fleet. The hosts were remarkably kind in meeting the ferry and taking our suitcases to the house, leaving us to free to start our exploration of the island. They met us at the ferry with our cases on the day we left. Kuni was generous with his time and provided great advice for a local eatery and which galleries we should prioritise on the island.

Very roomy, full kitchen facilities. Art books everywhere. Decor was finely detailed and lots of fun. You could easily fit a family there.

Nothing comes to mind. For those wanting to eat in, the only place to buy food is near the port.

The position on Naoshima was great. I liked the mid century modern decor and the extensive collection of art books.

Kuni & Akki zijn ontzettend gastvrij en een heel aardig koppel! Prachtig huis met uitzicht op de haven. Leuk detail, mooie design meubels met heel veel boeken over fotografie en architectuur. Aanrader!

Huset er bare fantastisk og originalt Japansk, der er twistet med retro og moderne fotokunst. En lille oase at finde ro i efter en lang dag. Alt fungerer perfekt, og værterne er usædvanlig venlige og hjælpsomme. Beliggenheden er i top med få minutter på cykel til en skøn strand og al den kunst og mad du drømmer om.
