Cozy apartment in Palazzo Malaspina

Per motivi di lavoro, ho dovuto passare una singola notte in città. Cercavo un luogo rilassante, in posizione centrale e la struttura ha superato le mie aspettative. Situata in posizione centralissima, in un elegante palazzo storico, gode di atmosfera di classe e di grande tranquillità. Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento Leonora dove ho trovato eccellente pulizia e buon gusto nell'arredamento, unitamente ad un fornitissimo kit di cortesia e benvenuto. Ho apprezzato tantissimo anche la cordialità e la discrezione dei proprietari. L'unico peccato è che il soggiorno sia stato così breve. Consigliatissimo.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Personen waren sehr nett.

Es war sehr heiss. Es wäre besser, wenn es eine Klimaanlage gäbe, denn mit dem Ventilator wird es im Zimmer nicht kühler.

L'appartamento, che può ospitare quattro persone, è dotato di un letto matrimoniale ed un divano letto molto scomodo e completamente affossato al centro.

Gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari, posizione assolutamente centrale, attaccato a palazzo Farnese, sei nel pieno centro e nello stesso tempo il silenzio è d'oro, grazie agli affacci interni sul cortile interno o sul giardino. La casa è una residenza storica tenuta con cura e ammodernata, mantenendo il ricordo del passato vivo nel presente. C'è tutto il necessario

The location was excellent — close to everything I needed, including public transport, restaurants, and shops. It made getting around the city super convenient and really added to the comfort of my stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, always available when I had questions or needed anything. Their hospitality really stood out.

However, there were some major downsides. The apartment was extremely hot, especially at night, and there was no air conditioning — just a small fan that didn’t do much. It made it really difficult to sleep or relax indoors. Additionally, the furniture was quite old and worn, which took away from the overall comfort of the space.

La posizione

Abbiamo prenotato e pagato per la stanza mostrata in foto, ma ci è stata assegnata un’altra completamente diversa, piccola e senza comfort — un vero buco. Delusione totale. Sconsiglio vivamente.

This was a beautiful room in an old building and it felt such a privilege to stay there. There was lots of space and I had everything I needed. There are plenty of places to eat nearby so I didn't cook although I did make my own breakfast. There was a good sized fridge that was perfect for my use. I also found some delicious coffee grounds in the fridge to make my own coffee. The host made me feel immediately welcome and I would definitely stay there again on return to Piacenza.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but for someone who really loves very modern decor, it wont really be for you. If you want to do a lot of cooking, you will need to bring oils and spices etc. It IS an old building and the shutters do not close properly. This didn't bother me because the weather was warm. The shower had good pressure but was a little precarious so on first use the water splashed over the edge of the shower tray. I got used to how to avoid this happening.
