Stunning home with breathtaking sea views

Very comfortable and the view was amazing.

I liked everything about it.

Beautifully decorated spacious apartment with everything you could want including books and games and maps and guidebooks. Fabulous view of St Michael's Mount and Harbour. You can watch the seagulls, fishing boats and trains. About 15 minutes walk to supermarket, shops and restaurants. 10 minutes walk to the bus and train station.

It's a bit steep for anyone with mobility issues and no car. It has keyboard entry and no one site reception. I was there for 8 days with no housekeeping service. Minor issues only

The location of the apartment is fantastic. Very close to the town and station. The view from the apartment is amazing and its a very stylish and comfortable apartment.

There are a number of issues that haven't been fixed - eg light bulbs in bathroom, fridge door, kitchen laminate, tired bathroom, dishwasher tablet drawer. These issues haven't been fixed in the 4 years that we have been coming to stay but having said that the view, location and how comfortable the apartment is makes up for this.

All in all, we had a great festive stay here. The apartment was nice and big, with plenty of space for the 2 of us, meaning it could easily fit another couple. It had lovely decor, and felt very homely in every room. It had great views from the balcony, including St Michael's Mount. We were welcomed by Christmas decorations (including a tree) so that made it feel more festive - which was perfect for Christmas Day. The complex was quiet and peaceful. There were more than enough windows to let in fresh air. The sky light in the bathroom lets in plenty of natural light, so you barley even need the lights during the day in there. The flat's proximity to the coast meant we could go for nice long beach walks, while having the town centre close by too. The WiFi and living room TV worked well, as did the kitchen appliances. There was loads of space to lounge, and it had a stunning dining table. We were provided with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits, all of which we enjoyed. We had pleasant baths and showers throughout. The onsite parking was convenient and without fault. There was plenty of storage for all our bits. And for the Christmas period especially, the price for what you get is more than reasonable. We would definitely recommend

There were unfortunately a lot of little bits we noticed. A big issue was the fridge door hinge, which was frustratingly loose, and meant that the door was not easy to shut (if we didn't notice sooner, our Christmas turkey might have gone off). The outdoor seating on the balcony didn't have any kind of cover, so sadly it was covered in bird muck when we came to it. Not nice at all to clean up. The mattress in the main bedroom (while comfy) was a bit uneven, so there were points where we both nearly fell out of the bed! The second bed was much more stable by comparison. Some of the bathroom tiles and kitchen laminate flooring were loose, and we spotted a few mild patches of mould. Several of the lights/lamps either didn't have bulbs, flickered and didn't work full stop. A few of the kitchen items in the cupboard were dirty before we even used them. The toilet cistern took ages to refill after you flushed. The kitchen door didn't close properly and also got in the way of the drawers. Similarly, the built in wardrobe in the main bedroom is a bit awkward to access. The guest book has been completely full since 2021, so we couldn't have left a message even if we wanted to. The welcome booklet asked guests to replace anything they use like toilet roll and dishwasher tablets - which when you're only staying for a couple of nights feels a bit unnecessary. The blinds/curtains in the 2nd bedroom were a little temperamental to operate. And finally, there was a very musty smell when you first walk in, so the whole place could do with a few air fresheners. I'm aware this may feel like nitpicking, but we want to raise these ultimately minor issues because the property was otherwise really lovely. If all these little issues could be addressed, we'd easily give this place 5 stars. What's more, we would be happy to stay again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you.

It was a lovely apatment, with amazing views over the sea. Parking was easy with a reserved spot. It was really well situated with a couple of minutes stroll into the main part of Penzance. The tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided was a lovely touch.

The decor, excellent parking facilities, within walking distance of the town, really nice and quiet considering it was right by the train station and main road into Penzance.
