Stunning home with breathtaking sea views

We were self catering. The property was very conveniently place for Penzance Station 7 minutes away.

Our only problem was not being able to work the Master Lock. Fortunately some close neighbours arrived who were able to release the mechanism for us.

Cutlery wasn't very clean!!!! That made me examine everything and notice the cleanliness wasn't up to my own personal standards..., but I admit I am probably exceptionally fussy.

Views were amazing. Comfortable and clean.

There was no hot water or heating. We had to phone the owner who did not respond but fortunately Becky turned up around six pm to sort it out. Communication would have helped here. There was no teapot despite inviting us to have tea! The fan in the bathroom did not work and only one of three lights in the bathroom were working. I guess people do not report such things so that they can be rectified.

Location was great, lovely sea view, nice open front room very spacious..

Firstly, the boiler had been turned off therefore we had no hot water and when we rung the owner she sounded just as confused as we were about why this had been done. Secondly, there was only one light working in the bathroom; we have seen from other reviews this has been mentioned a lot and the owner should really get them all replaced. Thirdly, the master bedroom matress was terrible; it was very soft and not comfortable I felt like I was sinking in the bed. Also, the dvd player wouldn’t work because there were no batteries in the dvd controller. Furthermore, at a glance the apartment looks lovely inside however after only just a few hours of being there we noticed that the actual cleanliness of the place was terrible, we found actual clumps of dust behind the bedroom door in the master bedroom as well as an actual layer of dust down beside the bedside tables also in the master bedroom, none of the carpets had been hoovered it was very obvious it hasn’t been done. The welcome package was a let down and it’s a good thing we checked the cups that had been left as they were dusty and had not been cleaned. In addition to all of these points we also aren’t sure if there was carpet moth as some of the carpets looked really torn. The balcony needs touching up , I’ve seen photos from a few years ago and it looked lovely but now it looks like it’s not been touched for a while the chair and table was rotting and covered in bird poo and the fake grass looks terrible; as we’re getting into the warmer weather I would hope that the owner tidies it up for future guests who would want to sit outside on a lovely sunny day. After reading past reviews about this property it felt as if this apartment has been abandoned because it has so much potential to be wonderful if it was kept up to standard and looked after properly.

Beds comfortable, excellent views, convenient location, no road/train noise at night, spacious living area, clear instructions for arrival and direction, Secure parking and Friendly neighbor!

Only 1 lightbulb working in bathroom and extractor not working. Very unpleasant smell often in hallway, and occasionally from dishwasher(deduced must be from pipes), but didn’t spread into living areas.

Great location.nice and peaceful. Clean apartment with easy secure parking.stayed here often and always great value.

We live un Kent... it's just a pain travelling that far. Nothing wrong with the accomodation at all.

The sea view and the apartment is in easy reach of the railway station and Penzance town. The apartment is spacious and really lovely. We felt very at home there.
