Flat by the sea

2 minutes walk to beach . 2 minutes walk to town centre. There wasn't much we didn't like

The only thing is parking the car . Parking was 5 minute walking at a long stay car park .that is the only thing .

This was my third visit my daughter wasn’t with me for the whole fortnight as her boyfriend lives in Plymouth , I felt very safe being here by myself , I love the near location for shops train buses , the outside sitting area also being near the park too so I never felt alone .I’m thinking of trying to book in October if I can manage it I miss it already.

We were very pleased, the appt. was clean, warm, cosy and comfortable.The area was quiet, and we felt safe at all times. The facilities were all we needed, and a fabulous location, right by shops, and close to the seafront.A very good price for the apartment too!

Great location Perfect communication from host Mostly well equipped little one bed flat,nice to have a tiny outside space,really excellent shower Sofa-bed was comfortable enough Good place for 1 or 2 people though there's enough bed space for 5!

Kitchen was missing a few basics such as salt and oil..also the guide book promised us milk for our arrival but none in the fridge when we arrived I made a roast in the oven one night. Opened the oven door after cooking it and set off the smoke alarm as no extractor hood.. couldn't reach kitchen window to open it so had to throw open front door and other windows then climb on a wobbly chair to stop the alarm! Never had a problem with lockboxes before but this one malfunctioned at the end of our stay when returning the keys,hopefully not too big a problem to fix..we let Chelle know immediately in any case

ALTHOUGH, RIGHT IN THE TOWN IT WAS FAIRLY QUIET. CHELL WAS VERY HELPFUL AND I WAS ABLE TO GET IN EARLY.

I really liked the flat. Very good for one person. Would have been a bit awkward in the small bedroom if there had been two of us. At the moment, I am walking with a stick and had to be careful going up and down the step from kitchen and living room.

couldn't fault the place for the price, the host was amazing with regards to responding to messages, would happily stay again when I'm down next

The location

The lack of towel hooks in the bathroom, & bedroom. One of my bugbears is the lack of hanging hooks for towels or clothes while showering. It's frustrating. Where must the guest place the wet towel, especially in a small place like this. There were feathers on the bed duvet and the headboard, when we arrived. I wondered whether the room or bed had been cleaned before we arrived. And the shower needed replacement grouting or new mastic to replace the bits that looked mouldy. No microwave in the flat. It wasn't mentioned on the listing so should we expect a microwave? Or, because it's not mentioned, does that explicitly mean there is NO microwave? I assumed there was one but I was wrong. And there is space, so it wouldn't have been problem. Disappointed that there was no reading light for the bed. And no shelf next to the bed to put the water bottle. Try getting a drink when you have to bump yourself off the bed to reach the shelf.

Absolutely spot on for all amenities to paignton close to bus and train spotlessly clean warm rooms internet all you need in kitchen including tea sugar coffee milk smashing host will definitely be going back 💯

The extractor fan in the bedroom was a bit noisy.
