Shannon Oaks Apartments

The beds were comfortable, the dining table was set nicely for dinner.

After arriving later, around 10:00 pm we realised that there was no water in the taps and the upstairs toilets weren't flushing. I contacted the number provided and was asked to move to a different apartment. When we arrived into the next apartment, we noticed that we no longer had 2 double rooms, but a twin room and a double room. The double bed had obviously been slept in and dirty dishes were on the counter top of the kitchen. . The representative on the phone insisted that apartment had been cleaned and ready to use. Clearly this was not the case and and another person had used this apartment. It was now approaching 11 pm and we made the decision to return to the apartment without water. We left in the morning without showers and being unable to flush toilets. I contacted the company the following day and was assured that someone would contact me about this issue. I have not heard from anyone, yet. I am extremely disappointed that the cost of our one night away was not reimbursed.

Dirty cups No loo roll and lack of response from the host The area around the property looks scruffy but the town is nice

Spacious, rooms were lovely.

No functioning door handle on one of the bathroom doors, one person got stuck in the bathroom, belongings got locked into bathroom. Contacted them to post the belongings to us then they said cleaner only found one of the 2 items left in the bathroom. No sign of anything being sent back to us. Poor customer service and dangerous especially if you’ve kids to have a door that can close but not opened.

Apartment was clean but a bad odour of dampness very few bars or restaurants open very little in terms of cups plates knifes forks etc

Lack of spoons for breakfast - something so small!

The space was exceptional The kitchen was big and had all appliances The bedrooms were huge too

The kitchen wasn't full cleaned (fridge and bins) The shower head was slightly dodgy The front door lock had seen better days

Excellent facilities and great location Clean and warm

Everything was good and i Will be returning
