Gorgeous Place In Downtown RMD

Nicely located and very modern and clean.

The location of the property is excellent. Right in the middle of Richmond. The skytrain is just downstairs and going to downtown is very convenient. The property is new and very clean.

The double bed is not a queen-sized bed

Got upgraded go a 3 bedroom (we booked a 2 bedroom). However - the 3 bedroom only had 2 legal bedrooms, the last one had no windows/fire exits, so it was deceiving. Sofa was dirty. Light switches were half assed - living room lights were partially controlled from within the bedroom. No ceiling lights («normal in canada» according to host. Except ive lived in Canada for many years, and its not normal. One lightbulb w/o shade to light up entire living room. Really weird and not what i would expect at this price. Nice washer and dryer - but no where to hang dry clothes. Close to train.

Kitchen barely had supplies. No strainer or cutting board. Basics. Actual apt was multiple blocks away from the location on booking.com. I think i know why - clear signs on all entrances and elevators that airbnb/short term rental is forbidden. Felt pretty awkward when we were clearly tourists. The smoke detector in building (stores on ground floor) was bonkers. We had to evacuate 3 times in 3 days. First time was just as we were about to go in elevator with our two young kids and all the luggage. Had to leave all our things. The smoke detector innthe building also woke up the kids one time. I tried cooking , despite the shittiest equipped kitchen in my lifetime (ive stayed in countless places the last 20 years), and the smoke detector went off (for the building) when just opening the oven door with a pizza in. Mold in the shower zone in one of the bathrooms. Shower curtain moldy (see pic) and disgusting in the other.

It’s close to metro and the rooms are clean.

The apartment is clean, in a good location, close to the sky train, a lot of restaurants around. We have a good time over there

The apartment is clean, in good location, have adequate cooking utensils. Coco is a good host, answering our requests in quick response. We will stay again when come to this part of Vancouver again.
