Beach Cottage

Francis and Heather are exceptional hosts. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and in a good position for Shanklin seafront as well as going out and about on the Island. Easy to park. Being welcomed to the property, having things explained rather than just getting keys from a box makes such a difference to the start of a holiday. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Myself, husband, and elderly parents spent 4 nights at Beach Cottage, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect! Heather and Francis were the best hosts, and went out of their way to makesure we had everything we needed for our stay. The accomodation was very big an cozy,with lovely outdoor space and a gorgeous view of the sea. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the Isle Of Wight. Thankyou so much for being super hosts!

Location first-rate. Shops, eateries, transport hubs, seafront and countryside within walking distance. Francis, the host, was generous in transporting us to shopping and places of interest. He also offers heavily discounted prices on Red Funnel car ferries. With Heather they were friendly and helpful hosts.

Beach Cottage was in a perfect location 5 mins walk from the beach, restaurants and fun things to do. although we had a car it would have been easy to walk to public transport to explore the Island.

there was nothing we didn't like.our Hosts Francis and Heather were charming, very warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Very lovely place to stay. Hosts are friendly and ready to give a suggestions about restaurants and places to visit. House is more spacious than seems in the pictures. Rooms are very clean and comfy. Location is good, few minutes from beach and about 10 from train and bus stations. Everything was perfect during our stay.

The location was great! Also the beds were very comfy and the house had everything we needed. There are games and books for the kids, our son had a great time reading and playing. Plenty of space for our family of three. We felt very welcomed and comfortable :)
