What amazing instructions and photos to help find the bnb and a lovely welcome and check in. It is a very spacious apartment in a lovely location and has everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend

The only comment I would make is that it is quite dark but then that is the nature of old apartments in Centro storico

It’s in a great location in Ortigia, with interesting walks in all directions. The apartment was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and Roberto was a generous, helpful and very welcoming host.

Our host Roberto, helped us with the parking and bringing the luggage to the house. The house itself is amazing, you can find everything you need for your best comfort!

Easily the best place/host we stayed with in Sicily and maybe the best private room/host we've ever booked anywhere. Roberto exceeded all our expectations in his responsiveness and helpfulness as well as being a friendly and kind person. The room is in a great location- within Ortigia on a quiet lane, just a few steps or a few minutes walk from everything. The apartment has everything we needed. We simply can't say enough good things about Casa Gargallo. We will stay here again!

As others mention, you need to use street parking if you can figure it out or use the Talete public parking lot but it's not problem since Roberto came and met us within 5-10 minutes even though we hadn't told him what time we were arriving! 15euro/day for the public parking.

Roberto was a wonderful host! He answered so many questions before we even came, helped us tremendously with parking and our luggage, and was so kind. The apartment is beautiful and in the best location, and Roberto left us a ton of goodies-- local sweets, fruits, and various treats. We really hope to be back one day!

Our stay at Casa Gargallo was amazing! Our hosts have clearly put great effort into transforming this space into a lovely space. It is beautifully decorated and has every amenity that a traveler might need. Our host met us at the Talete Parking garage and escorted us (a short walk) to the house, which is the only unit in the building. We were given clear instructions on how to use the various appliances. Restaurant recommendations and links to them were given to us by our hosts. Our stay on Ortega Island was a highlight of our trip to Sicily, thanks in part to this beautiful accommodation! Highly recommend!
