Villa Callas 16

The host was very friendly and the apartment very beautiful and cosey in a lovely location. We also had private parking with is fantastic for Sirmione otherwise you have to park outside the historic town.

We had everything at the apartment but there was no shower gel, it would be nice to mention to bring our own. Hotels and apartments usually have gel so this was a little disappointing.

The villa is very close to the centre, the apartament is large with elevator and security points. Near the villa is a nice park and few meters away there is the beach. The host was very nice and helpful.

The villa and apartment really needs some reconditions. There were no bathroom minmum supplies or a welcome water.

The position is good , near the beach and there is a private garage for the car. It's quiet.

The air conditioner is noisy and we have to shut it down at night. The bedroom and the living room are separated only by a curtain.

The private grounds were lovely and a great way to escape the crowds. The elevator was wonderful, even if we had to lug our bags up a final level. The park across the road and the closeness of the beach was great.

Difficult to get to with large bags as it's a long distance from the bridge so we took a taxi which was very slow due to having to share the roads with wall to wall tourists. The hot water system kept turning off (mid shower) and we had to reset the boiler. The air conditioner fell off the wall and leaked on the floor. We were asked to rehang it. It did work very well in the heat. Lack of condiments or welcome pack was difficult considering there's cooking facilities. No personal touch. The woman who checked us in was more like a real estate agent and didn't make us feel welcome.

The apartment was in a great location for us. The pictures represented well the apartment.

Hosts demanded cash. This was not advertised on booking.com but later communicated in a message. I have never had to pay cash before. I did not have enough cash with me. We then agreed to bank transfer. Everything was good in apartment except the water pressure in shower. This needs to be fixed. At one point no water came out of the hose. Next morning som water came out again.

The location was superb, the accommodation had everything we required for our stay
