Luminous Attic Down Town

A perfectly located gem of an apartment, right in the heart of everything. It is well equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable stay and the host gave us some really good advice on getting about and the sights to see.

The lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping a little harder but then we were blessed with really warm weather. There are 8 flights of stairs which means this apartment isn’t for everyone and there is nowhere to leave bags after check out which is a bit inconvenient if you have a late flight.

The location was amazing, right in the centre and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The apartment had anything you could possibly need during the stay - I loved the espresso machine! The balcony with a rooftop view of the cathedral was also a highlight. Mick, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. There were works going on in the apartment below us and as he know my husband had to work while we were there he found him a coworking space and offered other compensation. Would definitely recommend.

The smell of sewage, but this is standard for city centres in Spain and went away when we shut the windows!

We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The apartment is beautiful and has a lot of space. The hosts were incredibly nice from the begining of our booking and answered all of our questions, since it was our first time visiting Valencia. When we arrived, the host gave us the keys and explained on a map every place that we could visit and how far of a walk it is from the apartment, which was really nice and helful. The apartment is really close to everything, most of the tourist places are 10-15 minutes or less walking or 10-15 minutes by bus max. Also the apartemnt is a couple of minutes from the bus/train stations. We just walked everywhere every afternoon and stopped by the store on our way back, that is right next to the apartment. Also, a lot of coffee shops and bakeries and stores are really really near and they are absolutely beautiful! Definitely reccomend!!

Excellent location in the center of the Old Town, the host was very kind and explained to us about most of the sights. It had everything we needed. The stairs were not a problem for us. We recommend this place!

Very good location with view on the cathedral tower. Spacious apartment with all needed comfort.

No airco in the rooms and no clear evacuation plan/explanation. Each time 80 stairs up, so not for less mobile people

Location was excellent!

Host could have given us more private space. When arrived- all tired, hot and hungry- the host started to explain to us so MANY details about Valencia. Appreciated, but if was too much! Took about an hour of our precious time ( if I add I wasn't even feeling all that well either!) It seemed that he got upset when asking questions or when we wanted to stop. He would keep on going! Seems he wanted to do it his own way- Maybe a little more receptive to the hosts needs would be even more appreciated than shower us with so many unnecessary details. Check out was at 11 AM, and the host arrived about 15 minutes before that and told us he was going to start cleaning the bedsheets! He actually started cleaning the whole apartment and doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, etc Pretty intrusive in my opinion. Like I said, we were still on time for checkout. We were NOT late. Not appreciated at all.
