Luminous Attic Down Town

The apartment in Valencia this wonderful city is comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay/even a lot of bell ringing/😀 In the heart of the old town, there are many cafes and restaurants around. Victor, who welcomed us, is very kind. Told us useful information in detail. Thank you!

It was great to be welcomed to the property and have any questions answered. The location was perfect for exploring the old town and being close to the park.

Excellent location. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Beds were very comfortable. Good communication with host.

Lots of steps to get to apartment so not for people with mobility problems. On plus side good exercise climbing stairs to apartment

Ideally placed in the heart of the old city and at 10-15 min walk of the most useful bus and subway stations. Valencia is really worth having holidays in there, and the hosts take into account at best arrival and departure constraints for a happy stay.

Location is amazing. You are right in the centre but the property is quiet at night.

I asked before booking if there was aircon in the bedrooms and I was told there was. Unfortunately it was only a fan and we found sleeping difficult.

Fabulous location, everything on your doorstep. Spacious, equipped and comfy. Host super kind and helpful, permitted us also a late check out. Defo would return. 4 flights of stairs, did not cause us difficulties, bit not suitable for unfit or persons with a disability.

Nothing really negative to say, a little dusty but most houses are.

Victor met us and gave us some great information about the area, travel, eateries etc, what a lovely man! The location was amazing just round the corner from the cathedral and easy access to the old town, the bells were a joy. Really easy to access other areas of the city by bus and metro. The apartment was light and airy, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a great restaurant downstairs that we ate in a couple of times. We were there for Easter week and there was so much going on. There are 80 stairs up to the apartment and no lift, but I haven't put that as a negative because actually by the end of the week we were making it up there in one go, great for fitness levels but could be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Valencia is huge so we jumped on the tourist bus, I know some people don't like to do that but it was a great way to see where everything was and work out what areas you can visit in one go. What struck us was the contrast between the high buildings everywhere and the narrow streets in the old town with swathes of green wide open areas.

A shower mat would be helpful, the shower design makes it a little slippery getting in and out. There is some renovation work going on in the apartments opposite, but in fairness we were out all day and they seemed to finish around 16:30 so were gone by the time we got back.
