Coast Apartment

The location was great. Flat was clean comfortable and well equipped.

Parking access was exceedingly difficult due to the location of the allocated place in the underground car park.

very well decorated, bed comfortable, excellent extra help when we needed assistance of owners: fact they left milk for us on arrival, games drawer (we played scrabble!)

we think it would be better to advertise as partial sea view

The location is very convenient - just a short walk to the sea front and the shops . The apartment is lovely and overall it seems very quiet except a small amount of noise from the hotel next door in the morning . It was very comfortable and clean . It is good to have parking allocated as this is at a premium in Sidmouth

Fortunately I was able to access the car parking space through an empty space nearby which gave me an easier angle of approach as it is otherwise a very sharp turn to access the space

The apartment was soo clean and felt very warm and welcoming upon our arrival. There was a surprise pint of milk in the fridge and a lovely welcome card from the owners.

Only one sliding door to the balcony worked (might have been a safety feature?) and I found the other door difficult to lock. The hot water tap in the bathroom tap took a long time to heat up.

All communication was great and made the stay effortless and easy. The apartment was so inviting when we went in, warm , lit and cosy. You have captured what someone will need for this property. Beautiful touch, milk and biscuits.. was much appreciated. Location is excellent and meant we could park on the Sunday and didn’t need to use our car throughout our stay.

The only little niggle would be the damp and off smell in the area immediately outside our room. I appreciate this may not be in your control and the smell did not migrate into the room however was a bit

Early morning noise from the hotel

Nice cosy stylish bedroom. Well equipped kitchen Good bathroom and shower. Large living room with, in better weather, a balcony. Parking space a real plus in Sidmouth. So very close to the seafront and the very varied shops, bars and restaurants. All in all a very good comfortable apartment! We'd happily book again.

Over New Year it did not matter and we knew before we booked but the sea view is restricted. The bedroom was quite stylish but the rest is good, clean, practical and comfortable rather than 'high end' so maybe not for the honeymoon.
