I didn’t like the musty smell that lingered despite the AC being on, and the small, claustrophobic space. Additionally, the host was unhelpful and didn’t answer any questions. It felt like he was mainly after money, as I was charged the full price even though I had to leave after just a few hours due to these issues.

Given clear instructions on where to get the keys and key codes for flat via text on the day of arrival. Property was very central for Valletta and places to visit, quiet area.

Bed was dreadful not only uncomfortable but very loudly cracking and creaking with the slightest movement, hardly slept our whole stay. Badly soiled pillows, damp and mould in the bathroom which was tiny , broken headboard. We complained to the letting agents and they promised to get someone in to rectify the issues, sadly no one materialised as they said there had been a misunderstanding with the staff and no one was available. For our last night we checked out and booked another hotel to enable us to get a decent nights sleep before we travelled home. My last two texts to them to tell them we were checking out early and the reason behind this and asking for a reimbursement of our last nights accommodation fee was met with silence. Texts were read but no one replied.
