Little Paradise

Wonderful hostess with views to die for.

It was a little tricky getting around without a car.

This property has thought of most things and has an amazing view. We were very comfortable in the apartment. It was also a bonus to have the washing machine and pool area. The hosts are lovely and check in/check out was easy.

For us personally the property was too far to walk to Taormina. Others might not think so. But it was a hard walk especially if you wanted to go out for dinner in the town. I generally don’t mind staying a little out of town but this was too far for us. Taormina is a beautiful spot so we would have like to be closer to the main town to enjoy it more at all hours of the day. We probably did not appreciate how far out it was when we booked.

The apartment was really lovely and Lorenza the host was so nice, kind and helpful. On arrival she met us at the property, gave us complimentary wine, water and pasta. The apartment was immaculate. Throughout our stay Lorenza gave very useful advice and information.

Everything was perfect

We loved our stay at Little Paradise. The balcony is a really great size and the view is just spectacular. The pool is very big and feels private and shady. I was concerned that the walk to the town may be difficult for our small children (youngest age) but it was absolutely fine. The parking space is large and a real bonus.

I think perhaps an extra pillow or two would be good. I like to sleep with two pillows.

We loved watching the sunrise over the sea and the town from one of the two balconies. Gorgeous views. The apartment had everything we needed for self catering full meals. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Great location, close to the town centre but also within driving distance of Etna, the Perlotani mountains and many of the attractions south of Taormina. Lorenza and Cetty provided lots of great information and maintained good contact without being intrusive. We didn't have any problems but were confident they would have supported us quickly had we needed them.

Little Paradise is a real home from home with everything you need, including a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, pasta and pasta sauce. Lorenza is a lovely host and although she was away at the time of our stay, she checked in with me every day to make sure all was well. She provided recommendations and promptly replied to any queries we had. The balcony is large with plenty of furniture. It is East facing so was lovely to have breakfast outside enjoying the beautiful sea view. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk from Taormina town centre. The walk is steep in parts so if you have mobility issues or small children and don't have transport, you may find the it challenging.

Unfortunately the pool area wasn't accessible whilst we were there in early April, so can't comment on it.
