The views are amazing. The apartment is very spacious and clean.

Beautiful property with a breathtaking view of Mt. Etna and the sea. Tastefully decorated with a wonderful art collection. Very well appointed with coffee and basic cooking products. Drip coffee pot and Nespresso machine. Comfy beds and great pillows. We especially loved our little terrace to enjoy wine and coffee. Decent sized shower in master. Massimo is very kind and patient. Responds quickly to questions and problems. He helped us navigate the Taormina map and gave us awesome recommendations for dinner. Paid parking nearby is very secure. Location is awesome for the views. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the tourist area, but the bus stop is also close.

With the amazing view comes a road. It can be very loud if the windows are open. If you have the AC on, the road noise will not be an issue. Worth the sacrifice for the view.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, Parkplatz gleich nebenan, tolle Terrasse mit tollem Blick! Ganz weit oben u und trotzdem schnell im Zentrum. Massimo war sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar!

Ich hätte mir einen etwas größeren Topf und noch eine Pfanne gewünscht. Die Waschmaschine war innen so schmutzig, dass ich sie erst einmal leer bei 90 Grad angemacht habe. Der Parkplatz hat extra gekostet, muß das sein, wenn der Platz eh dem Eigentümer gehört?

The trade-off of being on a hill with the nice view is, this area is a bit hard to reach by the (already very limited) public transport of the town. If you don't drive and arrive here, it is almost certainly you will need a pricy taxi to come here (which is going uphill, so walking with luggage isn't practical). But going to the train station can be done by walking downhill to the bus-stop outside Porta Messina (15min walk, the bus schedule on Google Maps isn't correct, ask chatgpt for Tao-link bus). However, considering the view I got, I still think it's worth it.
