Old Lodge Apartment 7 by Vallettastay

Big apartment, nice terrace

Loud street, extremely squeeky bed, old hard matrace, dirty and dusty floor, dirty towels, extremely small sink in the bathroom

The apartment was centrally located, within walking distance of all the main parts of Valetta. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage close by before check-in. We were given excellent service by the hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

There were quite a lot of steps up to the apartment we stayed, no bother though and our host carried up one suitcase for us.

The location really close to the city centre and the restaurants. It is really clean and well equipped. The terrace is also very nice. We found free parking around ( between the white lines).

The bed is really squeaky, it woke us up in the night. Also, the stairs are abrupt. Bad TV reception (the Internet works fine).

Very happy to have air con, apartment had everything we needed and far enough out of the centre of the city that it wasn’t noisy at night. Very clean as well.

Only complaint was that the bed is very creaky when you move, but otherwise very comfy. Was also a very uphill trek to get anywhere, but that can’t be helped and we didn’t mind too much.

Bed to noisy and TV reception not good

The apartment is in an excellent location on the top floor of an authentic Maltese building. It is well appointed and nicely furnished with excellent air conditioning. The roof terraces are immediately outside the apartment door offering beautiful views and extra space to relax in. The hosts were excellent communicators and offered additional services such as airport pickup which I would highly recommend.

Older or less mobile people might find the numerous flights of stairs to the apartment quite challenging, especially with cumbersome luggage as there is no lift. The hosts kindly arranged for someone to meet me at the apartment door who helpfully took my bag to the top floor.

Location is fantastic, the host is very easy to communicate with.

the kitchen needs a few more glasses/mugs etc, and the mattress/bed was a bit squeaky and soft

Close to the city centre, big rooms and kitchen, comfortable bed.

Absence of lift.
