We had a great time in Ortigia and Syracuse in large part thanks to the help we were given by our host. The apartment was delightful, very central, newly renovated, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Near to some excellent restaurants, the Duomo and museums - the Papyrus museum especially. Highly recommended.

Rossana is the warmest, most attentive host who contacted us regularly with suggestions and warnings (while we were there Etna erupted and she warned us of the airport closure in Catania). She picked us up from the bus station, took us to the train when we left, and was always offering to take us where we wanted to go in Siracusa. To walk into the apartment was an experience. It has such atmosphere, and clearly much love has been devoted to its decoration. It also has absolutely everything that you could possibly need - we were there for six days and wanted for nothing. The hospitality and generosity of the host is outstanding, with baskets of goodies waiting for us in the kitchen, as well as an ample supply of coffee (both pods and coffee for the macchinetta). We especially appreciated the washing machine which is large and modern! One other thing - unlike most places in Italy, all the windows have fly-screens so that we could open the windows without mosquitos getting in.

the best place you could’ve ever asked for. fantastic location literally in the center and 1 minute away from the sea front. outside there is a sweet Italian cafe and have fresh baked brioche in the morning and l had the best pasta of my life next door. the host is so friendly and we were treated like family. this place is even more beautiful than the picture. you could tell it had been carefully decorated and someone put a lot of effort in. we also have a few recommendations about what to do and where to eat from the hosts which is very useful. I enjoyed every minute there. lovely host and this beautiful house will be my forever memory about Syracuse.

Loved everything!

Location was fantastic, our host was SO helpful, we absolutely loved the apartment! Rossana met us, late! She helped organize a taxi to get us there, she had kindly made sure that there was food and drinks in the apartment, the place was spotless! She showed us how everything worked, and had thought through everything that we might need, there was nothing missing. While we were in Sicily she kept in touch with us and helped us with any questions (getting us bus times and directions to Noto, answering questions about how things in the apartment worked) - Her restaurant recommendations were wonderful, and the meals out fantastic!

We loved everything, everything we needed was available. And Rossana was so attentive that if there had been any problem, we have no doubt that she would have addressed it promptly, she was amazing :)

Location was brilliant. Close to everything - easy to walk to sea, restaurants, shops... Rossana and her husband were so kind - meeting us and giving us her parking space was great, and helping us with our luggage!. A selection of snacks and wine were waiting for us in the apartment. They really made us feel welcome!

Rossana and Egidio were perfect hosts, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome :) From the day we booked their house Rossana was very informative with lots of tips and suggestions that helped us better plan our trip. Rossana and Edigio waited for us on the day of arrival, helped us find parking and get settled in the house. The house itself is extremely comfortable. It is quite old, and that is a part of its charm :) Location was excellent, close to several beaches in Ortigia, and within walking distance from Siracusa. On the day of our checkout, Rossana and Edigio introduced us to a beautiful beach in San Lorenzo :) Had we known in advance, we probably would have booked another day in Ortigia :) Extremely recommended!!
