Old Cape on the Marina - De Pond : Unit 6

Everything was superb clean rooms and easy to access

Nothing actual, just that I think they are still busy with renovations

It allows dogs, and the man managing it was nice

In 4 days not one cleaning and they also don’t supply cleaning supplies to do it yourself. Floors and furniture extremely worn down. Provided towels did smell like sweat. Bathroom is shared with two more units. Pool pump was only put on after we asked for it

Most of all the person in charge due to his kindness and also preparing the way for a nice stay . What an honor to meet with a Christian

There was nothing that I could say was not right

Was very small , luckily we were the only ones there for a few days but as soon as other people came there it was crowded the yard was small so if the other people wanted to braai it was in front of our bedroom window. The place is also for sale so there were people that came to have a look at the place that made me feel uncomfortable.

Walking distance (1 min walk away from Marina, 5 min walk from a pud/grill and a tuck shop) Wifi speed was good Had all the basics you will need. Great for sleeping in then exploring the rest, kind of situation.

Unprofessional not welcoming, the cleaner ran the whole place, unexpected cash deposit requested (no info of return except the cleaner gives it back when he (if)is there when you check out)the room shared a hallway with the owners house and the room next door every time the other room was cleaned he went throw the way to your bathroom giving the feeling no privacy added you can hear everything the owner or other guest said + tv's + microwaves even at 3 am, cleaner walking into room a few times without even knocking on the door. Furniture on the old side, only one very old dirty fan equipped for room (did borrow a better one from the owner) Things to do swim in the pool full of bugs, sit on the bed watch netflix, and sit outside at the braai. The kettle had moldy water in it. Found multiple bugs (spiders) in the room as well.

The pictures was not the true reflection of the actual place.the kitchen floor was terrible the shower floor dirty . The towels si hard.i only stayed the Friday I booked out call the owner for my money back which he refused. The same amount I could have stayed next door where there was a beautiful hotel
