No private terrace/outdoor space. But was just on the beach so didn’t matter too much

the amount of stairs ! also there was an issue with the water, most days there was either no water at all or very little water pressure so almost impossible to shower (very limited hot water)
GBA very pretty immaculate apartment adjoining the beach. The water was cool but perfect for a refreshing swim. Francesco our host could not have been more helpful, we used the Booking.com app to ask questions. He also kindly send us the shuttle bus timetable that replaced the cable car that was down for maintenance.
I was there for a conference in Taormina and had the cable car been running it would have been super convenient. Otherwise I had to walk the 700 steps or use the shuttle buses - which were not quite to schedule! No bearing on the apartment location though which was excellent.
AUGreat place, but we copped bad weather, probably the worst in a while. Experience on its own.
It was as expected.
GBWe met for the keys at Central location by the cable car. The property has everything you need, even a washing machine. It over looks the beach and is in a wonderful location. We were super impressed, vey clean and looked after. We were left beach towels and didn't want to leave. Do your research before you go. Taxi's can be expensive and we got around on buses, they are cheap and reliable even compared to trains. You can come straight out of the airport, turn right and there is a bus hatch to get a ticket for €6 to the cable car at the top, with a 2 min walk from the station. You then get the cable car where you meet for the keys down the bottom, which was €6. A taxi would cost €80, it takes just over an hour on the bus.
we wish someone would have told us how to get their easier. Don't go to the restaurant by the apartment, its over priced and not worth the money. There are so many lovely restaurants around so look around.
GBWe chose this apartment as it has decent kitchen facilities as we wanted a mixture of eating out, but the option to eat in too (definitely the case with breakfast). The apartment had a decent view over the bay and almost direct access to the beach which was handy when we spent time sunbathing or snorkling /swimming. Shower facilities were good too. Good water pressure and hot water.
The walls to other apartments were a little thin so sometimes outside sounds would come in, but nothing major. It would have been handy for the apartment to be supplied with a small amount of washing powder (for washing clothes), but there was washing up liquid and lots of loo roll.
USGBThe electrics were a little dodgy.
USA beautiful place with amazing views just steps away from the beach. Francesco was very helpful with tips and making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely go back.
ITThe location is marvelous and the decor charming. All of the details are well thought out. The staff are lovely, as well.
I would recommend packing lightly as the parking area is a bit far from the entrance to the apartment. There are many stairs involved, too. However, with that said, once you are all in, it is well worth any struggle for the view and proximity to the beach.
