Westpoint Apartments

Host was very accommodating with quick replies and provided refreshingly clear/detailed instructions for location, access and parking. Both the room, bathroom and reception were clean and well equipped. Wonderful, reasonably priced gem - don't hesitate to book!

The walls are slightly thin so at times we could here the people in the room next door but the noise is not loud enough to be a significant issue.

The location was great - write on the beach with a great view. The apartment was well equipped and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of eating places and pubs.

The seafront location, the designated parking place, how responsive the host was to any question, and very helpful. Also the information given to find the apartment. Nice room and it worked well for us to explore the coast, searching for the elusive fossils. Nice pubs, good Dorset gold ale, and good food.

The view of the sea is a bonus but as the chairs were quite low, sitting in them you couldn’t really sit and see the sea view, although sat on the bed which was a little higher you could have a better view. Sometimes having an early evening drink and watching the world go by was not as expected, as in other sea view properties we have stayed in. Everything else seemed fine. A suggestion to have some long rails in the bathroom, maybe to help dry a towel for another use, not always nice to have them hung over chairs/furniture to dry. Not a deal breaker though.

The room was cosy, nicely decorated and really clean. We were comfy and had a lovely stay. Arrived just in time for sunset from the window looking over the sea.

Only 2 sachets of milk. Would have been nice to have 2 more Noise from cars racing up and down outside was very annoying. May be beyond control of accommodation. Not too much of a problem in March but wouldn’t return to this accommodation in summer as it would probably be quite noisy

Breakfast wasn't provided but quality of tea, coffee, biscuits and hot chocolate in the room was good. The position of the property is outstanding with its seaviews. The room is cosy and relaxing with good decor and facilities. Huge selection of books, dvds and games at reception to be borrowed. The owner is readily accessible and always keen to help.
