Luxor Home Vista incantevole

Maddalena was a great hostess and her apartment was perfect for our group of 5. It was within walking distance of the center where there were many restaurants to choose from and shops to explore. Not only was the apartment spacious and stocked with everything one would need, but there was a spectacular view of the Valley of the Temples from the back terrace. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay at this beautiful property again!

It's a beautiful, modern, large apartment with fantastic views with a large outside terrace. My family had plenty of space to stretch out and the kitchen was well-furnished. Parking for the apartment is just down the street (about 250 ft) in a lot so very convenient. And the apartment is right near the main road for restaurants and gelateria at night, so you can walk to them. Host did a great job also with restaurant recommendations.

The view from the balcony over the Valley of Temples was astonishing. Inside the apartment, you had all the luxuries you wanted and the host is super friendly and provided some additional things for the breakfast upon request.

We had a bit of difficulty finding the apartment and called Maddelena who stood outside the apartment so we could find the location. It turns out that we were actually quite near when we made our call. We were able to park outside while unloading the car. Maddalena guided us thru the security entrance and I am happy to report that there was an elevator. Although there are numerous posted pictures, they do not do the apartment justice. The apartment is extremely well appointed, modern and large. All the kitchen appliances were high end, new and the blinds could be controlled electronically. Although located in a high traffic area, we rarely heard any traffic noise and enjoyed the view of the Valley of the Temples on the other side of the apartment. One can also walk to the historic, old town area of Agrigento and chose one of many restaurants to have a meal. I highly recommend Sal8 where we were treated almost like royalty once we mentioned that Maddelena sent us there. The town occupies the site of the ancient Greek Akropolis. Its plan and architectures sum up 25 centuries of historical events and architectonical styles. There was plenty of storage space to spread out and our sleeps were tranquil. Each morning, I would make myself a cup of coffee and sit outside on the balcony overlooking the valley while listening to the birds and church bells. I wish we could have stayed longer. All three bedrooms were of a good size. The master had an ensuite bathroom, while the other two share a very large bathroom. Additionally, there was a powder room off the hallway. As we had a car, a complementary parking pass was provided to a nearby parking lot. We had some difficulty using the pass which was resolved quickly. Kudos to Maddelena for being so responsive. Our rate included breakfast and the unit was well stocked with all the fixings for this meal. Water was also provided. Definitely one one of the best apartments we have had the pleasure of calling home.

More time?

It was spacious, well stocked, and comfortably furnished with modern appliances and amenities. The wifi was excellent. The building was well secured, centrally located, with a lovely kitchen view from the balcony facing out to the Mediterranean and another balcony with a city view. The owner provided free parking a few steps away making it easy to take day trips or to drive to a restaurant if you decided not to eat in with the well-equipped kitchen. Overall the unit very liveable and comfortable for a longer stay. It was huge for a couple and could easily accommodate a larger family or two couples travelling together with privacy.

Breakfast was great for what we needed,

it was a shame that the balcony was not completed and was still being built, once completed it will have great views and will provide a great place to relax

Everything in the apartment was perfect. Lots of space in the bedrooms, living areas with a great location, beautiful views, plenty of breakfast food options provided. Secure parking in the train station parking lot about 80 metres away was a bonus. Our host, Maddalena, was wonderful and easy to get in touch with. She provided a thorough run down of the apartment and recommendations for local restaurants. Large screen TV, fast internet and excellent cooling/heating system were the cherry on top. After travelling for over a month and staying in many other apartments in other places, this apartment is easily top of the list. We,as a family of 4 adults, would go back and stay in an instant.

Everything was just amazing

Nothing everything was great. The apartment was stocked from milk , coffee, tea, yogurt breads and lovely cupcakes. Host was great helping with any information we needed

We liked everything about the property. All the fixtures, fittings and appliances were high end. We were fascinated with the front door. Maddalena was exceptionally kind and helpful. The location was so convenient especially given that we were travelling with a 90 year old!
