Luxor Home Vista incantevole

This is the best accommodation we have had for years and we traveled a lot. 1. Check-in: The host Maddalena communicated with me on WhatsApp with the detailed information about the check-in process with photos. We used a code to open the the second door of the building (the outside door of the building was always open), took elevator to the second floor, and Maddalena opened apartment door remotely for us as she was not in town at that hour (about 3:45 pm). The key is on the kitchen table. Everything is high-tech. We push a button from inside and swipe the key from outside to open the door and the door opens/closes automatically. Super easy and convenient. 2. Location: The apartment building is in front of the Agrigento Centrale train station (1 minute walking, as we took train from Palermo to Agrigento), and a few minutes walking to the city center old town. The bus station is in front of the apartment where we took bus line 2/ (recommended by Maddalena and her son) to the Valley of Temples. 3. Apartment: Huge, modern, stylish, very clean. Three bedrooms for just two of us. The kitchen is large with everything you would need. Bed is very comfortable (we used only one bedroom, of course). Very fast Wi-Fi (speed-test showed 38 mbps download). 4. Host: Maddalena and her son met us before 5 pm at the apartment, introduced everything we need to know about the apartment and the city of Agrigento. They are super nice, helpful and friendly. They reserved a fine-dining restaurant for us for diner, and recommended an excellent ice cream shop. We had good time at both places. This is THE place we will stay if we have a chance come back to Agrigento in the future.

None. Everything was excellent.

This was the most amazing property to stay at! The location was 100% perfect! Very close to everything - shopping, bars, restaurants and the main bus/tax stop right outside the building. Also located very close to the train station. Very close, yet not on top of everything - that is - no noise hassle at night. The hostess was perfect! Very welcoming, recommended several restaurants, how to get to places we were interested in, and checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything for the apt or questions/recommendations for our stay. The apt itself was very spacious, very modern, so comfortable, so lovely. Espresso machine with espresso packets, fresh fruit and yogurt in the fridge. Very clean!!! Nice towels! Ammaazzing shower!!! Honestly I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. If we go back to Agrigento, this is definitely where I'd try to stay! Book it, you won't regret it!

I wouldn't change a thing!

The location of the apartment is superb it would be near impossible to be better. Totally central to everything, Busses Trains, Restaurants, amazing streets and cafés. Free secure car parking. The views from the apartment are incredible, from the mountains to the sea ,vistas to inspire and that you could only dream of before staying here. The Host left more than ample supplies of first class coffee for the capsule machine, beautiful pastries for breakfast as well as fruit juice and yoghurt. Toast and jam, milk, tea bags, mineral water, everything for a spacious, comfortable 5 star stay. With high quality Italian Smeg appliances in the kitchen cooking was a breeze. In the spacious marble bathrooms (one with the best shower in the universe) We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.

It is impossible to not like everything about this property.

Stylish, central location, well equipped and spacious. Great kitchen well stocked with food. The host Maddalena was extremely attentive and there to meet us and show us how everything works in the apartment.

Everything is perfect. The owner is very very kind and helpful. The house is big and clean and has everything i need. The view from the window is magnificent. You can see the temples from the house. I would recommend it to everyone. Me and my families had a really happy time in the house.

Luxury is the word. A very spacious apartment, VERY. Everything modern with high tech entry, electronic shutters and every amenity you could hope for. Dishwasher, washer, coffee machine, hot water kettle and microwave. Water, oranges, yogurt, cookies, bread, butter, jams and more. You should park at the Parcheggio Pirandello parking lot. Maddalena has a complimentary parking pass to cover the cost. It is right at the lower level of the train station. Take the elevator up, walk out in to the piazza and on your right you will cross the street and the apartment building is right there. Maddalena responded quickly to all my messages prior and throughout my stay. I made an error thinking something wasn’t working and it was but Maddalena addressed it right away. You have two full baths attached to two of the bedrooms and an additional toilet as well. Televisions were everywhere including the kitchen. One of the showers is very large. You have a balcony with a view. The location is perfect within a very short walking distance to great restaurants. I enjoyed my lunch at Kalos with wonderfully seasoned tuna, but the restaurant that has set a new standard for me is Sal8. Sal8 produced the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life and it is crazy reasonable. Very pleasant setting, don’t miss it. One of the best stays I’ve ever had and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Maddalena for everything.

Everything great

I think this was one of the nicest places i've ever stayed in my life. Everything about it was top of the line. The accommodations were literally five star plus. It was secure. It was essentially located. And it felt very special with art and top end decorations. This food provided was healthy and yummy. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough about this place. I definitely will stay there again when we make it back.

The apartment was clean, modern and spacious. Location was very good, short walk to the old town with bars, restaurants etc, and not far from the Valley of the Temples via taxi. New lift installed and working fine, so no problem with stairs
