Garden Hill Relax & Old Town by OCvillas

Location is great, 2 minute walk to the Old Town.

Things we liked: Locations is great - super close to the old town streets and restaurants- yes, It’s got a steep hill to get to it but the hill wasn’t insurmountable - maybe 5 min of uphill. Space - the apartment is large and spacious - it was my hubby and me so it suited us perfectly Facilities - it has a washing machine and that worked really well for us. Outside patio - it was nice to be able to sit out in the sun and drink our morning coffee

No condiments for us to use - we were there for 8 days - no garbage bags for us, 2 rolls of TP, no washing detergent, no salt or pepper - there was nothing provided and nothing was ever restocked Wifi is super slow - streaming was frustrating on your iPad or iPhone - I did a speed test and it didn’t even hit 4mpbs on download There was only 1 beach chair - Albufeira is a beach town - it’s a one bedroom apartment - at least have a pair of chairs (2) Half way through our stay, they removed all the pool chairs from the pool deck and never brought them back (we stayed early November) weather was quite nice so that was a disappointment for us Coffee machine was acting up and made the worst coffee - barely any water came out. Also note - NO LIFT - the condo is in the bottom floor (but think reverse walkout) - there are 5 flights of stairs down (but then you have to get your luggage UP when you leave) just something to think about - when we left, we each took one end of each suitcase and carried them up one at a time - it’s a lot of stairs so just be aware.

Beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need and more.

Stayed for 10 night without a change of bed linen or change of towels.

The location was absolutely perfect minutes to the old town with fabulous restaurants. im not sure why some of the reviews say 10minutes, apartment was huge and clean, had 2 balconies. Pool area was nice and quiet. We locked ourselves out of the apartment one day and a staff member was there promptly.
