Everything was perfect loved the little welcome basket for us and our dog Rachel was a very polite host thankyou

We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Rachel was so lovely and welcoming from the start, we enjoyed meeting her dogs and horses, this is the perfect country get away.

Very clean, host Rachel is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed including a breakfast basket 😊 Myself and my 2 children loved the place! Rachel sent very detailed instructions for arrival

Room was smaller than I thought (that’s probably my fault for not reading the description properly) I liked the property’s location, on a quiet country road but I recommend bringing everything you need with you - it was a 30min drive to the nearest supermarket. Also wifi does not work a lot of the time.

everything…. Rachel couldn’t of done anymore for us… we had a welcome pack waiting for us which included bread .. milk.. eggs.. butter etc..etc..etc everything….if you want nightclubs and disco lights then please dont bother… peace and lovely countryside then big yes :-)

A good location for us to base from for our hiking holiday. There were some nice touches such as the dressing gowns and slippers and the welcome basket and a nice kettle and toaster. We also very much appreciated the separate freezer with the fridge not having a freezer compartment.

The wifi was non existent - we tried several times on 4 different gadgets and every time it failed to connect and most times came up as password incorrect - we checked with the host but nothing was rectified during our stay - very frustrating as it's one of the factors we always check before making a booking, and in this case was doubly annoying as our own phone providers coverage was as good as non existent at the accommodation and so the wifi was much needed and therefore much missed during our 8 day stay. A dog barking persistently on a couple of the early mornings was really annoying. The place has a few things that need to be upgraded - the pedal bin doesn't work, the clock didn't even have a battery in it. A matching set of crockery and cutlery would have been nicer instead of all the mismatched items. The saucepan glass lid was missing its knob and the alternative lid didn't fit correctly, so had to be balanced on top the saucepan. All the above aside we very much enjoyed our stay just the place needs a little TLC.
