"Disappointing"

Our friendly greeting and provided basics, milk, bread and eggs etc

Cleanliness (cobwebs and dust galore)and overall yucky 80s decore, bedsit attic room vibe. The outside step leading up to the room was loose,and the abundance of moss made it hazardous taking stuff up. The 5 min to Ashbourn was indeed 15 and cost 20 there and 20 back. The only pub,a mile up the road as now ceased trading. We booked 2 nights and only did one,left and went to nearby Bakewell,which was fab:) Told Rachel,the owner, we were disappointed and left a day early and the response was thanks for letting me know. She didn't ask why, in order to make any changes Avoidance from her .. nothing.. certainly won't be returning Shame because she was very friendly:)

The apartment was lovely and cosy, quiet location. Comfortable bed, heaters so we didn't get cold, everything we needed supplied and more ! Loved the breakfast basket and access to the garden area next to the bubbling stream. Also seeing the horses out the window. Rachel was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Dripping tap. Watch your head on low ceiling and beams.

"Great little place, lovely surroundings."

The host left items for breakfast, bread, milk, cereal and tea and coffee. And also a present for my boyfriend and a card as it was for his birthday. Host was in touch while we stayed and advised us local pubs and places to walk.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about our stay.

Everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Lovely pub 1.3miles away, which is easy to walk to. so quiet.

although it is very quiet, the location is beautiful. lovely walks surrounding the property and amazing pubs in a few of the nearby villages.

Rachael left Cereal, Eggs , Milk & Bread. This was such a nice touch. Everything required for Breakfast was there.
