Location area we required quiet spacious well equipped

Sofa heavily soiled ,mattresses also heavily soiled ,quilts soiled , washing machine one foot missing caused washer to shake and bounce quite violently had to hold so not to damage counter , soap dispenser dirty,mop bucket no mop , bust on skirting boards dirty in others, firestick didn’t work on tv , no usable batteries for remotes ,grout missing in bathroom floor, trim on window not attached, some sort of substance melted leaking from the electric meter onto draws below. Pictures not attached to the walls, blinds with no chains , garden needs a tidy , microwave rusty. Sellotape on carpet?

Can do with some upkeep and a thorough clean. Shower gel, shampoo, laundry detergent, and dish sponge and cloth not provided this time. Only 1 dishcloth provided.

It was like a home away from home. In a quiet area but not too far from everything. We were out every day we were there, but it was nice to come back and it be private, especially with a baby. The bedding was super soft, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were fantastic and easy to contact during our stay. We will definitely be back.

Roomy apartment close to the train station and shops on Station Road. Modern bathroom and good sized kitchen, washing machine and clothes drying area.

The carpets and lounge suite were stained with throw blankets to cover. The oven and bin were filthy.

Spacious with lots of natural light and nice modern design.

It was very cold upon arrival, the heating was completely off and the thermostat ready 9° so it took a long time to warm up. Not ideal when you want to sleep. There is also clearly damp in the house as any clothes we took with us ended up smelling damp by the next day. The tv remote didn’t work even when we tried different batteries rending the tv useless which was annoying as we was left with no entertainment. The bath doesn’t drain so when showering the basin filled up which was frustrating.

Feels like home - well-equipped kitchen, super comfortable bed, central heating, clean linen, welcoming place, games, reading and recipe books available, safe and well-lit area, a 3 minute walk to Ashington Station which goes to Newcastle (£1.30 ticket).

Some very minor upgrading, which I trust the owner will do, would benefit the visitor (example soap dispenser in bathroom).

We had a couple of issues that were all solved by the management team very quickly Internet was a little unstable

Central for shops beach and lots of riverside/lake walks

Wasn’t clean, kitchen smelled of sour milk. Bed springs hurt to sleep on. Back gate not secure
