"Comfortable, excellent location for our needs, everything we needed."

Received the details ahead of time. Key safes were obvious, well labelled and easy to find. The hosts provided lots of information, which was very useful. The studio was clean and well stocked. The honesty box is a great idea, we didn’t need it, but if we did, it would have been a life saver. Breakfast items were very welcome.

The breakfast was excellent and was so helpful with everything provided. The kitchen was very well equipped . Very good shower and heating worked well. Thank you for helping us so promptly with parking on Saturday evening.

The bed did creak a bit.

Really lovely property. Comfortable bed and had everything we needed. Hosts were lovely and were quick to reply to any queries we had. Easy travel to York using the park and ride nearby!

As it’s one property split into separate flats, you can often hear other people coming in/out and other guests dogs barking. However, earplugs are supplied by the hosts!

Jackie and Richard were so kind and helpful. Went over and beyond to make us welcome. We were attending a wedding in the village and arrived at the carriage house well before check in time! Jackie made us a cuppa n showed us into a room in grounds to sit even gave us a jammy donut! Richard then opened the room we were staying in to drop our bags off.We couldn't have asked for more helpful hosts.
