This was a last minute stay as the other place I booked had an issue. Great communication from the owners and it felt very warm and welcoming.

It was very hot and rained during the night which kept me awake because it's quite loud.

The breakfast materials provided were based on their normal routine of enough for the first night. There were some additional cereal packets. For the five night stay, based on genius 2 free breakfast, we had to supplement. However, the kitchen facilities were good. The studio room was sufficient for our needs. Location was good for York, Ripon, Knaresborough and Wakefield visiting.

The sofa/bed had been damaged by previous guests. We discovered this on our first morning and had to contact the hosts, because we were concerned. It would have reduced our concerns to have this pointed out on arrival.

Beautiful, cosy , clean, great location, chilled , everything that I needed for my working stay in the area. Fantastic communication with the host family in addition to the lovely bits that were left for me complimentary to eat and drink. This was a great personal touch
