St Chads Suites by Central Beach Leisure

From the moment we arrived it was a disaster the room had not been cleaned since previous residents it was very noticeable from the beginning after finally getting through to someone about an hour of being on hold we were told to go to another room which also had a foul smell and wasn’t the room we chose it was smaller and didn’t have a sofa so we chose to keep our room we had and have housekeeping the next morning as they weren’t available there and then I asked for access to cleaning cupboard (which was also disgusting) to clean the room on our own which was shocking after travelling 6 hours and paying a lot of money for our stay which had already been taken before arrival. Once we bought our own cleaning stuff and spent an hour or two cleaning the room it just got worse really we started to notice everything. The next morning the we were called asking if we wanted housekeeping and we declined as we had done everything on our own and had already got towels and toilet roll as there was none on our arrival. Just on the passing the housekeeping staff made us feel uncomfortable obviously knowing we weren’t happy. I could go on forever about this trip tbh I’m extremely disappointed n I have never experienced such bad levels of cleanliness n we travel alot.

Good location, comfort and clean

all was good great room, be aware that some of the parking outside apartments are blocked by cars parked on the road could have done with some tea towels, shower could have done with a deep clean

Location was good, bed was very comfortable. Spacious. Had sufficient cooking resources. Off street parking. Lots of towels. WiFi. Big shower. Large fridge and freezer. Tesco extra near by. Plenty tea and coffee.

Felt like it an escape room to get into, given wrong PIN number for front door. Didn’t receive any information for apartment door. Had to phone for 10–15 minutes until someone answered and helped us out. Tv was temperamental, remotes didn’t work. Heating had a mind of its own, got very hot but too noisy at nights with windows open. Listed in the description there was a washing machine, nothing in apartment. Walls in bedroom were quite thin, could hear other apartments tv and activities at night.
