Mermaid Holiday Flats

2nd time stopping at the Mermaid and once again not disappointed. Lovely one bedroom deluxe apartment, clean and spacious with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Comfortable bed, tv in lounge and bedroom all kitchen equipment you'd need even a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, the list goes on, a perfect home from home stay. The host is very polite and friendly we called 20 minutes before arrival and we were greeted by him and let into the flat earlier than specified. This is always an added bonus anywhere you stay as it makes for a longer weekend and not wasting the first day so thank you for this. The location was perfect just behind the tower and next to a large car park reasonably priced at £27.30 for 72 hours. Near the beach, north and central pier all walking distance along with the town centre and ample bars and restaurants. We will certainly be staying here again such a friendly owner who also called the day we left to make sure we'd had a pleasant stay. A nice personal touch goes a long way 10 out of 10. We look forward to our next visit, I only wish we could visit Blackpool more often especially now we've found the perfect accommodation.

Location is spot on. 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 min walk to the tower. So good location. Apartment was very clean. No issues, perfect for couples. Good tv aswell. Will definitely come again.

Just no railing to hold on to on the way in and out as the steps are a little steep.

Close to everything and within walking distance. Car park opposite building

The whole apartment as everything you need always clean .very close.to central pier,beach and shops. host is very nice and polite and will help if you need anything.we would not stay any where else.

Location

The bed covers were dirty and had stains, they also smelt, I had to go and buy my daughter some clean bedding to sleep on. There was a cigarette burn on our bedding. All the bed sheets were old and fleece in summer! There wasn't even a working zip on the end of one of them so it was open. The shower was dirty and didn't drain correctly. The light in the hallway didn't work and there was a stain on the wall at the side of the bed. The pillows were flat. There was a hole on the wall where someone had punched it. There was an overall unclean smell throughout.

Very central. Car park opposite. Had a problem with the shower not draining and was sorted straight away. Would recommend these flats

Situated perfectly for what we wanted, very clean, the perfect host, will stay again

To make our stay perfect , as we are getting on in years a anti slip mat in the shower and a toweling mat outside the shower would have been nice.
