The location and space were good. It was clean and secure. Heating was good

It smelt of damp when we arrived and when the heating was off. Hot water for the shower was not consistent

Property was clean, property was in perfect location within a 5 min or less walk to pier, a 10 min walk or short tram ride the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, where we spent the whole day, returned home to a cosy property. Facilities was fantastic.

Location very near central pier, but quiet and secure. This is the most positive part. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but please be aware of the following before booking: The accommodation - clearly recently furnished. Lots of pink velour (kitchen chairs, sofas, beds). However, there were ants in the kitchen (mentioned to the cleaner & she told me she was already aware), and the drains in the showers both smelt. Bring tea towels, antibac spray, hand soap and dishcloths as none provided. We booked for a family of 5. Bedding was provided for the sofa bed, but there were only 4 kitchen chairs / 4 plates / 4 bowls etc, bit inconvenient.

Finally, the real issue, is they did not return our £200 deposit (unfairly). We found the sofa bed broken on our arrival - it had been resting on the leg and when we moved it the leg fell off. I immediately contacted the host with pictures to explain the issue. They said they would ask a maintenance person to fix it, but they never showed. Our youngest slept on the second sofa bed, in the bedroom. Although this is also missing a leg, as he is only 6 he slept on the other end. I also let the host know about this, they said they knew about it already. We left the flat immaculate. We spoke to the cleaner on our way out. THE HOST REFUSED TO REFUND OUR £200 DEPOSIT despite all the above. We asked repeated, politely. They stated as the damage was found on our stay it is our responsibility, despite us finding it broken on arrival. ANYONE BOOKING IS AT HIGH RISK OF LOSING THEIR £200 FOR ANY ISSUE IN THE FLAT FOUND ON ARRIVAL, OR MINOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. This is such a shame and has made our weekend in Blackpool very expensive! We have complained to booking.com and their reply is here: "Dear Guest, We really do apologize for the inconvenience that occurred. We assure you that we have contacted the property several times to sort the issue out for you and to fulfil your request regarding the damage deposit, but they did not agree to refund the amount back. We would like to inform you that the deposit is managed by the property, and they are the only ones who can agree to refund you. We assure you that you are a valuable guest to us and our guests are our top priority, as the experience you went through is completely unacceptable for us more than it is for you, that is why we raised a complaint against the property on our system in order to sort the issue out... Kindly accept our sincere apologies again, and feel free to reach us anytime you want."

This apartment (F1) is brilliant, it's on a ground floor with no stairs (my elderly mother struggles with stairs so this was perfect), it's location couldn't be any more central if you tried, plenty of cafes/shops surrounded the property, loved the key code entry on the front & apartment doors with different codes meaning we didn't need to carry keys about, very comfortable living area, the area is very quiet at all times especially having 2 youngsters with us (never really heard any outside noise), Ali is quick at responding with no problems whatsoever, wifi is very good speeds, toilet/shower in both rooms & extra toilet within kitchen, there's a large old fashioned fridge which I thought was very nice you don't see much of them these days, whole apartment was spotless & very clean. Definitely recommend & will definitely book again on my next visit.

There's only 1 thing that I didn't like was there wasn't any waste bins in the bedrooms (just my preference) but there is a large waste bin in the kitchen so don't let that put you off.

it was a lovely apartment with a great location. It also had a hairdryer and iron which i did not expect and had took my own.

We liked everything 🙂

The location of the property and the amazing clean and modern accommodation
