Retreat Luxury Apartment Near Presidential Palace

The view

First,it wasn’t the flat we booked,the host changed without telling us,probably they have more in the same building,was similar but different from the photos. When We walked in was a bad smell and everything was very dirty(the toilet had a plastic note on top saying that is clean ,but definitely wasn’t.The bathroom floor was dirty and hair around.The fridge/freezer very dirty too with lots of stains everywhere.We couldn’t use the cutlery and plates,bought our own woods ones from a shop near by) The bed was uncomfortable with dirty bedding on and the pillows you can’t name them pillows actually. The sofa was ok. The host said to wait for someone to do aflat check when we check out but nobody turned up and shame because we could have a proper conversation and complain face to face. The idea is that something like that can’t be out for renting even on a good deal of money.Needs a proper cleaning not only the hoovering of a robot twice a day

The good part in the entire experience was that the flat was well located

The hosts altitude’ were horrible. They changed my flat a few hours before the check in. When I arrived in the flat, there was no electricity and the host didn’t answer to my messages regarding this issue or any other. They have distance control on everything that exists in the flat and they can change anything without telling you. Everything in the flat functions on electricity.The rules of the flat are ridiculous and the way they share them with you, makes you feel like you’re a 5 y.o. toddler.

The apartment was clean and the staff was friendly. The owner contacted me by WhatsApp on the day of the arrival and gave me all the access information to the property.

It was a little bit tricky reaching the property, but I think this was because I arrived late and I was tired.

Very close to where I needed to be.

Bad / stale smell. No TV channels. One of the blinds in the bedroom was broken. The toilet seal (the paper band that certifies it's been disinfected) was laminated (for re-use?) Worst of all - host's attitude. After paying you receive a lot of information the vibe of which is: you must do this, if you don't, you will be punished. Some examples: you have to send a picture of your ID card in order to get access to the apartment. Cleaning, taking out the trash and more are **mandatory** not simply appreciated like in most other places I've visited.. Before being "allowed" to leave you are supposed to send pictures to prove everything is in order (I was actually allowed to leave without sending pictures so I guess I shouldn't complain).
