Grand Central Accommodation - Smardan

there’s a bad smell in the room, and it wasn’t like the picture

The location was very central. We stayed for the weekend. The nightclub and party sounds come into the room. We were not disturbed by this, but those who are sensitive about this should think about it. Cosmin was very helpful. He also helped us carry our luggage.

It was not sufficient in terms of cleaning. There was also a bug problem. The elevator was not working. There was a serious odor problem in the toilet.

Perfect location.

No elevator, no kettle, only one towel

Absolutely horrible stay I would tell everyone to avoid this especially as a solo female traveller. The building is a slum house and you won’t feel safe. There is very little light, the accommodation smells throughout and the door looks like it can easily be broken. The door handle is also broken from the inside so you literally have to aggressively push your way out. The lifts weren’t working and there was no water for the majority of the trip. Due to the horrendous smell in the studio there are so many flies roaming around also. The pictures do not match to what the room looks like. I truly don’t understand how this place is still on booking.com. The host is nice and it is in the heart of old town which I will say. It’s just a shame the slumlord has taken advantage of many people living in this building with absolutely horrendous living conditions.

Localization

TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE PHOTOS!!! The building is horrible, it's completely dirty, the room is terrible, the bed makes a lot of noise, the kitchen didn't have the necessary conditions for cooking, the bathroom didn't even take out the garbage, we found garbage with feminine hygiene items😭🤢. The sockets are sticking out of the wall, the switches have no protection. It's not worth the money and I don't recommend it for those who want peace and quiet, as it's a very busy street at night.

Location was great and also manager was nice.

The apartment was very dirty and smelly, we had to clean the floors and dishes ourselves. The hair dryer was broken, once turned on it exploded, throwing out sparks. The induction cooker is present but without pans for its use. The structure of the building also seemed unsafe and certainly ugly.

The only thing we liked was the location and the fact that the host seemed nice.

The fact that it was not properly cleaned, actually not clean at all.
