Panoramic Cișmigiu Park

The location is excellent, right next to the park and with a lovely view of the parliament building from the balcony. It was generally clean, and having a balcony was a nice perk. The area seemed safe enough during the day, but I only stayed for 2 nights (Sun and Mon) and didn't go out at night.

My biggest concern was that the facilities are not as advertised on the listing. I stayed here because I have food allergies and have to cook for myself, but I arrived to find that there was no oven or stove as promised. As I arrived, another resident warned me not to use the lift as it's unreliable. Keep this in mind, because the apartment is on the 8th floor (lovely views, not so lovely walk up after a long day of tours)! More minor things: the windows/outside doors in the hall were always open and as a result, some birds had made themselves a nest on the landing outside the apartment. Didn't bother me, but might put off other visitors. The fridge wasn't plugged in when I got there, so the inside of it was flooded with water and needed time to cool down again. The communication with the host wasn't great. I had two neighbours knocking on the door and screaming at each other in the halls for 40 mins (some dispute about using the space outside the door?). The guy had asked me whether I was living there illegally? As a solo female traveller, this was worrying and made me feel less safe. I contacted the host, who never got back to me about it to let me know if it had been sorted, so I spent a while worried that the neighbours would come back at some point.

Should provide better information about parking free.

The views are amazing and the location is near the city center. The terrace with tje parliement views is the best. Next to the beatiful park.

Unfortunately the room was full of dust although the bathroom was properly clean. The building looks scary but once you enter the room it's cozy.

By far the best view in Bucharest so far.

The location was good. It had a very nice view of the Parliament, the park and it was close to the old town.

There were problems with the elevator. After I got stuck between the floors, I had to fix it myself because there was no phone number for the elevator service, nor could I write or call the owner for assistance. The owner of the apartment does not pick up his phone, rather does not answer ,also doesn't respond to messages through Booking.After I messaged him about this, we had problems with the elevator, the next day I was asked to FIRST write a REVIEW to give a rating, but before that send it to him.I think that the reviews should be impartial. Another problem was with the hot water, we had to wait at least 3-4 minutes for it to drain and have hot water. The building is old and this is a problem. There were not enough sockets in the room. The AC cable was hanging like a rope absolutely ridiculous and not safe. The clothes hanger instead of being in the hallway was in the room and it was all wobbly because it is super badly attached to the wall. There were a lot of nasty room fragrances. The terrace could have had nicer chairs. We had to get stuck people out of the elevator thanks to a neighbor who helped. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed was not cleaned well under the sheet which kept coming off. The apartment it has a nice location, but apparently people don't care to invest a lot, and for this price or a little higher we could find a better place.
