The Barley Store at Walkmill Farm

Fresh eggs and milk are supplied for a quick, easy breakfast. We drove about 5 minutes away to Creative Garden Centre to enjoy a full Ulster fry. Second time we stayed here and we will stay again. The host is very helpful and friendly. The cottage is beautiful inside, everything you need for a lovely, relaxing break. The bed is super comfy, also. Location is great, ten to fifteen-minute walk into the centre of Bushmills.

Nothing could be improved as it had everything we needed.

Been here lots of times so that speaks for itself. Always perfect.

Another wonderful stay at Simon & Belinda's - perfect in everyway! Barley Cottage at Walkmill Farm is a true home from home in such a beautiful peaceful location. Its so lovely sitting on the outside balcony listening to the River Bush flowing past, whilst enjoying your morning coffee with Dennis & Minnie. It's walking distance from Bushmills & Portballintrae with all the amenities you need. Simon & Belinda are perfect hosts & have thought of everything in the cottage to make your stay as cosy & comfortable as possible. Our favourite place to stay on the North Coast & we will definitely be back again soon. Many thanks!

A very cosy place, we both loved it. Beautiful hospitality, attention to details, lovely dogs and pony, even milk and eggs for breakfast…everything was over expectations. Thank you! 🤗

To be honest nothing see below !

The cottage photos online are roughly twenty years old and don't reflect what you find, all the soft furnishings require updating, the cottage also requires a deep clean and not just a tidy before a guest arrives. The outside area to the side and back is so full of rust and dirt you would not use it ! In summary the accommodation was not upto standard, all points were raised with the owner upon his return from holiday the same hour as our departure ! That was the first time we seen him ! Extremely disappointed , would not recommend.

Lovely cottages in rural setting. Homely, owners so friendly and accommodating. Lovely touches with snacks and eggs left for us. Everything you could want or need in self catering accommodation.

Maybe the particular cottage available to us was a little small for our liking. It was however good accommodation and with no complaints.
