From the moment we were welcomed by Arend, the most wonderful host, to the time we left, everything about our stay was perfect. The house is in immaculate condition, every tiny detail or amenity you'd need has been considered, the views are exceptional, the braai and outdoor area is perfect for relaxing in, and I would happily return for a longer stay. Thank you Arend and Anita for creating a beautiful space where people can feel right at home.

Breathtaking and awesome are two of the many adjectives that may describe this extraordinary place and the lovely couple that shares it with lucky guests as us. Arend is an ever helpful, enjoyable and knowledgeable host who cares wholeheartedly for every detail. The appartment is pure delight. Absolutely amazing! Amazing views, beautiful property, spotlessly clean and everything thought of for a self catering cottage. The hosts were lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The best place by far among 7 others, where we stayed at during our 3-week vacation in South Africa. It is so much better that on the pictures! I don't know how the host keeps this place so new and so clean. All furniture and equipment (fridge, bathrooms) were in perfect condition, the house was exceptionally clean (me and my wife were jealous because we couldn't reach this level of tidiness in our own house). Priceless views from the main bedroom and the living room. Beautiful garden with a green lawn area to play with kids outside and a fireplace+covered terrace for BBQs in evenings. A friendly and a helpful host that will accept and keep your luggage before check-in hours and help bring your luggage inside and outside). Proximity to the coastline (2-3 min walk).

1. We missed a washing machine in this house. 2. Please be ready to climb some stairs. To get inside you'll have to walk down roughly 40 stairs and then walk up ~20 stairs.

18 steps is an extremely well-appointed apartment with amazing views in a great location. It is also possibly the cleanest holiday rental you are likely to find in the greater Cape area. The hosts, Arend and Anita were exceptionally gracious and accommodating.

The accommodation is just perfect. Super nice views and everything super clean and looking brand new. Also much space and very well furnished and beautiful kitchen and living room. The best are the hosts, Arend and Anita are super friendly people. Hope to meet you again one day in Germany! I would have loved to stay longer if I could!
