Everything!! The place is amazing, the hosts were perfect and literally a phone call away. 18 Steps is in pristine condition - neat, elegantly decorated with the most amazing view!! Thank you Arend and Anita for hosting us. Best experience we’ve ever had in Cape Town.

The accommodations are beautiful and well appointed; very clean and well equipped. Gorgeous views!

The access from the road parking to the apartment is not easy to navigate with very steep and at some places very narrow stairs. Not recommended for the elderly nor young children.

Beautiful spacious accommodation. Great views. Well equipped kitchen. The outside Lapa, great for a braai. Complimentary bottle of wine was a thoughtful gesture. All round it was wonderful stay and Arend is very friendly and welcoming.

The location was serene, offering stunning views from the apartment over the bay. The apartment itself was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host could have not been more welcoming and attentive, ensuring our trip was seamless. Perfect for a relaxing getaway—highly recommended!

I wanted to mention that there are quite a lot of stairs leading to the property which are quite steep and could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. While it wasn’t a problem for us, it’s something to keep in mind if accessibility is a concern. Otherwise, the place is fantastic!

The view was amazing. The accommodation was comfortable, relaxing, simple, yet luxurious. Arend was a lovely host. He made us feel so welcome and at home. Whether we sat on the balcony, in the lounge or outside, the surroundings gave us a sense of peace and tranquility. Definitely a place to return to.
