"We will never go back to this apartment despite being well located"

Dear Booking.com I do not recommend this apartment at all for reasons as follows : we arrived on Sunday morning on the 26th Nov 2023 at 1pm morning we were stuck in an UBER for 1hr30 as we were unable to locate the apartment , imagine I was stuck with a driver that I do not know with a baby of 1 year , my mother in law whose 01st time at Cape Town and my husband who have walked along the 48th main road seapoint for more than 1h30 without being able to find the apartment . we were all in full panic with a toddler crying in a car with an unknown driver ( hats off to the driver who stayed with us during the search) . My husband has also tried to reach the owner via phone without success , it has been areal nightmare for us and I sincerely do not wish anyone to experience such misadventure being in an unknown country at 1h30 am where everywhere is closed knowing no one, having no where to go and where the concerned party ( apartment owner) is not even taking up his phone. With the help of the uber driver and a security guard we have searched till 3am without success ( with a baby in a car in an unknown country) Of note that full payment was done via booking.com before our arrival and all details + timing of arrival was communicated from our side ( please do feel free to check) and the owner has not even dared to share any details of the apartment , keys etc no communication from his part. Fortunately ,we had the presence of mind to buy a sim in joburg in order to be able to have internet connection and we had to search in panic for another nearest apartment on seapoint where they fortunately got a place for the rest of the night and we had to pay for 1 night . ( that's the most frustrating part knowing that we have settled full payment for an apartment that we are unable to locate) 2nd part below

We stayed awake the whole night stressed and panicked till sunrise and my husband went to look back to the apartment and called back the owner who finally answered the phone then we were communicated with all details keys etc ( REAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND ETHIC) WE DID NOT EVEN GOT THE REFUND OF THE NIGHT OF 26 NOV which we have to paid and spent in another apartment We were aware of load shedding in SA via website, again a lack of communication from owner , the timings were not communicated and then we were also left without electricity for 1and ½ day ( apart from load shedding) as the apartment has token electricity provider once token is used electricity is cut off and then it is the owner to set up back electricity and on this day all food stuffs of our baby which were in fridge got rotten (1 week provision , yoghurt, cheese etc.. approx. R1000 ). AGAIN IT WAS US WHO GOT TO ENGAGE WITH HIM AND ENQUIRE FOR ELECTRICITY TO HAVE BACK ELECTRICITY . We have all proof via WHATTAPS of the above Please do judge by yourself , It was our 4th time at CAPETOWN we have never never experienced such misadventure. We do not recommend at all this apartment ( too bad because the apartment is very well located)

Location and safe

Under apartment seems to be a contractors garage with all his equipment he would move around every morning at 7.
